Awesome opinion by Charles Blow in the BIASED, DISHONEST and DECEITFUL NY Times:

"I also believe that much of your campaign was an act of psychological projection, as we are now learning that many of the things you slammed Clinton for are things of which you may actually be guilty.

You slammed Clinton for destroying emails, then Newsweek reported last month that your companies “destroyed emails in defiance of court orders.” You slammed Clinton and the Clinton Foundation for paid speeches and conflicts of interest, then it turned out that, as BuzzFeed reported, the Trump Foundation received a $150,000 donation in exchange for your giving a 2015 speech made by video to a conference in Ukraine. You slammed Clinton about conflicts of interest while she was secretary of state, and now your possible conflicts of interest are popping up like mushrooms in a marsh.

You are a fraud and a charlatan. Yes, you will be president, but you will not get any breaks just because one branch of your forked tongue is silver.

I am not easily duped by dopes.

I have not only an ethical and professional duty to call out how obscene your very existence is at the top of American government; I have a moral obligation to do so."

I posted this in October 11th.
Donald Trump has accused Hillary Clinton of things that he has been doing himself. Here is a partial list:

  1. "Hillary Clinton is a bigot who sees people of color, only as votes, not as human beings worthy of a better future." Trump promotes Islamophobia, xenophobia and white nationalism. He claimed that an American judge wasn't qualified to hear his case because of his Hispanic heritage.
  2. "She doesn't talk about policy." Clinton has 40 comprehensive policies outlines on her website, and has written a book on policy goals. Trump recently fleshed out his website to 14 policies.
  3. Trump says Clinton has ties to Russian oligarchs. Trump’s son, Donald Jr., admitted that his father has business ties to Russia. Trump's campaign manager resigned after revelations that he was linked to the Party of Regions in Ukraine.
  4. Trump says "ISIS is rooting" for Hillary. Several ISIS operatives have come out in support of Trump.
  5. Trump says Clinton is "trigger happy." Trump's Twitter account frequently makes headlines for his knee-jerk reactions to criticism.
  6. Trump says Clinton doesn’t have the temperament to be president. He made this claim soon after a Fox News poll was released showing that 65% believe Trump doesn't have the temperament to be President.
  7. Trump said that Clinton is running a "campaign of fear." He routinely warns about increases of domestic terrorism, gun violence, illegal immigration and civil unrest. He drives his supporters to take illegal and unethical actions against legal, peaceful groups of people.
  8. Trump says Clinton "lacks energy," and has "low stamina." Clinton attended six events on the day she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Trump told us that he gets his exercise by addressing a rally.
  9. Trump says Clinton engaged in "pay-for-play." The Trump Foundation made a contribution for Florida AG Pam Bondi, hoping to prevent action on the Trump University lawsuits.
  10. Trump says that Clinton has "tremendous hatred in her heart." Trump is revealed casually discussing sexual assaults he has made, or would like to make.

Well, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.

Did you read the comments section? One reader was so pissed at Blow, he switched his subscription to the WaPo. :)

US Green Party raises enough funds for Wisconsin recount

The former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has raised the necessary $1.1 million to request a vote recount in Wisconsin, her campaign announced Thursday.

The Midwestern state was a key battleground in the November 8 election, helping propel the Republican President-elect Donald Trump past his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton to a victory that shocked the nation.

“Congratulations on meeting the recount costs for Wisconsin,” Stein’s website read.

“Raising money to pay for the first round so quickly is a miraculous feat and a tribute to the power of grassroots organizing.”

The recount demands could reignite concern over the legitimacy of the vote, which followed a bitter presidential campaign that included persistent charges of foreign hacking and rigging.

Anyone want to contribute to recount in Michigan and Pennsylvania?:)

No, I don't want to waste money finding out what we already know. Trump won the election.

As for getting along with Trump it's kinda our duty as US citizens to help him acheive his goals.

He managed to achieve his main goal already.

What a crock of shit. Why didn't you say that to the Republicans in Congress anytime during the last eight years? Our duty as U.S. citizens is to point the floodlights at every thing Trump does in favor of keeping him from continuing to be the lying huckster he is.

When did I NOT bitch about Republicans essentially being traitors or how incredibly stupid it was of America to reward them for their insolence. That's not an excuse for us to sabotage our country, it's an opportunity to show them how to do it better.

I'll agree with that to this limited extent: The Pubs in Congress spent the last 8 years obstructing Obama at every point and blocking everything he tried to do even where, as with the ACA, it was essentially something Pubs had thought up in the first place. Their motto was, "We can't afford to let you succeed." The Dems in Congress should not now imitate that. Let them evaluate each of the Trump Admin's policy proposals on its own merits, and obstruct only those flatly unacceptable and wrong for the country.

As most of them will be, I fear.

Let's not make the assumption that Donald Trump has goals. He didn't have policies until someone mentioned that he should have some.

Constant filibustering is wrong, we don't have the majority which means we don't have the right to block progress. Now if he goes for something truly unnacceptable yeah but it can't be everything it has to be "I want to nuke Russia bad" not "I want grandma to eat catfood" that is our punishment for losing.

Trump is not a policy wonk. He doesn't understand government. He has no ideas of his own. He's just there to play golf and to funnel money into his businesses.

He allows people like Tucker Carlson, Mitch McConnell, Stephen Miller and Vladimir Putin to tell him what policies to embrace.

The leftists and their friends in the media declared war on America and American Democracy the night Trump won. Sure Trump leaves a lot to be desired, but they wanted Clinton. They have no one to blame but themselves for nominating the one candidate he would beat. America is a country born out of conflict but we always found a way to find compromise. They don't care about America or what it has stood for. They think they are entitled to get their way and will destroy the country to get it.

No, they quite sensibly declared war on Impeached Trump--to try to save America and American Democracy. Apparently you don't process information dangling right in front of your face very well. Who do you think you're fooling?

Can we all just get along with Trump?

No.

We cannot all just get along with Trump.

Let's take a look at some of the reasons why we cannot get along with Trump.

He’s slandered our free press, praised brutal dictators, established a religious test for immigrants and torn families apart.

He’s sabotaging America’s NATO alliance, he’s leaking secrets to the Russians, he’s sabotaging America’s State Department, he’s sabotaging the EPA, he’s sabotaging the Education Department and America’s schools, he’s sabotaging the Affordable Care Act, he’s sabotaging green energy jobs and he’s sabotaging America’s tourism industry.

He’s attacking award-winning media outlets like CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post, while praising tabloids and rumor-mongering propaganda outlets like the National Inquirer and Fox news Channel.

Trump has attacked the United States Constitution as “really bad” and has declared war on America’s Free Press. He’s ignored the Constitution’s Emolument’s clause and shamelessly uses the White House as a cash-cow to financial enrich himself and members of his family.

Trump claims that America is “respected” under his reckless and childish, rule, however, he’s lying. Under Trump, America has become a laughing stock. We are no longer a trusted trading partner, a trusted member of the NATO alliance, or even a trusted partner that foreign nations can share intelligence with. We are a rogue nation with an unstable, emotionally-needy, abusive, impulsive, intellectually-lazy child as our national leader.

His tariff wars are hurting the U.S. economy and destroying American farms.

He's locking up children in cages, denying them beds to sleep in, denying them adequate food and water, denying them medical care and acting like nobody is responsible when those children die.

He's pardoning war criminals, while deporting people who have served honorably in the U.S. military.

He's getting our foreign allies killed.

We can't get along with people like that.

Let's take a look at Trump from a slightly different angle.

A U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant and self-identified white nationalist has been arrested after federal investigators uncovered an arsenal of weapons and over a thousand rounds of ammunition in his Maryland home that authorities say he stockpiled to launch widespread domestic terrorist attacks targeting politicians and journalists.

Christopher Paul Hasson called for "focused violence" to "establish a white homeland" and dreamed of ways to "kill almost every last person on earth," according to court records filed in U.S. District Court in Maryland. He had been amassing supplies and weapons for over a year and had developed a spreadsheet of targets that included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Lieutenant Hasson is a domestic terrorist and white nationalist who intended to use his arsenal of weapons to kill large numbers of Americans on American soil.

As president, Donald Trump is tasked to protect this nation from fanatics like Lieutenant Hasson, yet when Hasson got caught planning mass-murder on American soil, Trump’s first reaction was to ignore the news at first.

When finally pressured by the media to comment, Trump refused to criticize Hasson directly and would only say that it was “a sad thing” that Hasson was plotting to kill innocent people on American soil.

Donald Trump is not usually at a loss for words. He has eagerly and chronically attacked President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Jim Acosta, Joe Scarborough, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Nancy Pelosi, Saturday Night Live, immigrants, Mexicans, Canadians, NATO, Robert Mueller, the FBI, the Justice Department and athletes who kneel to protest against racism, however, when a white nationalist stockpiles weapons for a terrorist attacks and plots to kill American politicians and American journalists, Trump suddenly finds himself extremely hesitant to say ANYTHING disparaging about the guy.

Trump was similarly silent when a domestic terrorist in Florida was caught after sending 13 homemade pipe bombs to Hillary Clinton, former president Barack Obama, former president Bill Clinton, Maxine Waters, George Soros, former attorney general Eric Holder, Robert De Niro and other prominent Democrats and critics of Donald Trump.

Why is that?

As president of the United States, Donald Trump has the power of the bully pulpit. This powerful tool allows him to reach millions of people and push public opinion in whichever direction he chooses. When domestic terrorists are out there with guns and bombs and planning on mass-murder and terror on American soil, you would THINK that the American president would use the power of the bully pulpit to vigorously condemn such terrorists with the strongest words possible.

Trump is willing (even eager) to use the power of the bully pulpit to attack Colin Kaepernick for kneeling, and Saturday Night Live for their comedy skits, but he won’t use the power of the bully pulpit to attack Christopher Hasson and Cesar Sayoc for masterminding terrorist attacks that could have killed an untold number of innocent people on American soil?

Why is that?

Professionals in the American Mainstream Media seem to be reluctant to speculate as to Trump’s motives, however, I’m not part of the American Mainstream Media, and I WOULD like to speculate about Trump’s motives.

Back in 1990, Donald Trump did an interview where he praised the Chinese government for using tanks and machine guns to kill 1,200 peaceful protesting students Tiananmen Square. Trump said that such brutality and mass-murder by the Chinese government showed “the power of strength” and he bemoaned how America was “perceived as weak”.

In other interviews, tweets and public pronouncements, Trump has praised dictators and attacked leaders of Western Democracies as “weak”. He seems to hate democracy and has even told us that he believes the United States Constitution (which is the foundation which American democracy was built upon is “a bad thing for the country.”

So, Trump believes that the United States Constitution is bad. He believes that President Obama and other Western leaders are “weak” and that foreign dictators are “strong”. He seems to admire foreign dictators a lot, including the dictators in Saudi Arabia, who crack down on public dissent and savagely murder journalists that dare speak out against the Saudi regime.

Having established Trump’s anti-democracy/pro-dictatorship mindset, it is my opinion that Trump us refusing to criticize domestic terrorists like Christopher Hasson and Cesar Sayoc, because HE APPROVES OF THEIR ACTIONS!

Trump has already made it abundantly clear that he HATES Freedom of the Press and wants to shut down media outlets that are critical of him. He’s also made it clear that he wants to lock up law-abiding American citizens (like Hillary Clinton) if they dare to criticize him. Trump clearly DOES NOT want to be the president of the United States. Trump wants to be dictator.

However, that pesky United States Constitution is placing limits on his power and stopping him from being a dictator. He can’t have his critics arrested, he can’t shut down CNN, he can’t get Saturday Night Live taken off the air, he can’t have Alex Baldwin executed, he can’t have Colin Kaepernick arrested and
he can’t force the National Park Service to say that his inauguration crowd was bigger than President Obama’s.

These limits on his power send Trump into temper tantrums and childish twitter frenzies. He wants to send tanks and soldiers with machine guns out to kill his critics, but the laws of the United States of America prevent him from doing so.

However, America has a disturbingly large number of racists, jingoists, xenophobes, white supremacists and white nationalists. What if Trump could manipulate these irrational people to go after his critics?

With the bully pulpit as his tool, it would actually be quite easy for Trump to incite people like Cesar Sayoc to perpetrate acts of violence and possibly kill his critics.

By endlessly attacking his critics as “the enemy of the American People”, “proven liars”, “known scoundrels”, “dirty cops”, “crooked”, “evil” and “the Devil, over mass media, Trump is inciting Americans with certain personality traits. He is validating certain irrational fears and hatreds and making acts of violence against his critics seem not only acceptable behavior, but actually patriotic.

Cesar Sayoc never met Donald Trump personally. Trump never told Cesar Sayoc to kill anyone, however, Sayoc attended a number of Trump’s hate-filled rallies and was so moved by Trump’s words that he covered his van in pro-Trump iconography as well as photos of Hillary Clinton and other Trump critics in the crosshairs of a sniper rifle. To say that Trump isn’t encouraging people to commit acts of violence would be naive.

Trump doesn’t tell his supporters to go out and kill anyone, he simply uses a national platform to describe the kind of violence that he wants to be carried out. He identifies the targets and leaves it up to the listeners to carry out this violence. He tells his followers that Hillary Clinton is the Devil. He tells his followers that the American Mainstream Media is the enemy of the American People, and his followers decide when and how to lash out at those targets.

Think of it like Charles Manson and his followers. Manson never killed anybody. He just identified the targets and left it up to his followers to carry out the violence.

So, that’s my theory, Trump refuses to speak out against people like Cesar Sayoc and Christopher Hasson because HE WANTS them to commit acts of domestic terrorism and kill people like Hillary Clinton!

If he spoke against these people, it might defuse the situation, and Trump doesn’t want that. He wants to see his critics die in a bloodbath in the streets.

So, NO we cannot get along with Trump.

Charles Blow, NYT, WaPo, etc., are using Trump as a scapegoat because he's an easier target. The people they can't get along with are the millions of people who voted for Trump because they were marginalized by illegal immigration pushing wages down and global trade outsourcing their jobs. I expect the large media venues will pivot with Trump's majority win next year, but many pundits and writers will double down into smaller venues or other careers.

He does speak against them, no amount of condemnation of them will defuse the TDS'ers.

He could end ALL violence, world hunger, poverty and cure cancer.....you and the other TDS sufferers would be OUTRAGED at him and call him a white supremacist/NAZI for it.

Just like you've done to all the past presidents and do with any future (R) POTUS.

You all have been trying to impeach him from the day he was elected. You all thought you had him with Russia, but that failed. You had to find something. That's why your use of the word "impeached before Trump doesn't change much. It was a weak attempt at keeping the far left of the party from revolting, but most Americans aren't onboard with it. Perhaps its better to find out why he was elected, because you're setting yourself up for future Trumps and dare I saw worse ones.

They will double down again. They did it the first time. They think their college degrees make them all knowing, but they don't even know how grossly undereducated they are. If they weren't they would have been able to pull back and see the frame work in which they were taught to think might not be correct.
