The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Beautiful Numi! :rose: Or is that beautiful Numi? In either case, that's a great shot. The red scraf was a shortcut and far preferable to being locked in a tower and having some upper class twit of the year climb up your hair.

Cheers

Somehow missed you out yesterday, HR  Thank you

Locked in a tower could be OK. Depending on who's there with me to fend off the upper class twits. I imagine it doesn't take much. A rolled up newspaper? A riding crop? Yes. Let's go with the riding crop. :)

Both of these use color beautifully to accent the fine feminine forms, and convey something of the spirit of the original.

Thank you, Jordan.

For me, a reference to the birth of any goddess/god/myth always takes me to the origin of the Universe (*pauses for the big bang references*).
So here is my rendition of the birth of Venus, from the stars and the darkness and the light.

Live long and prosper!

Now that is an inspiring view of your creation myth. Gorgeous, Lizzie.

Ooh, very nice Lizzie ;)
Thanks Ω.

That's beautifully done Lizzie.😘
Yay.

I'm enjoying the reboot of classical art far more than the reboot of Gene's iconic series. Nice job pulling a second god reference into the post (the one also known as Hephaestus). I'm sure the line to sign up for the 5 year exploration is already forming. Just be careful who you let go where no man has gone before.
Cheers
I appreciate your comment. No one is going there.
What are we talking about?

Ha! Okay Spock!!

No really, wonderful idea, I LOVE it Lizzie, WOW!!! :rose:
Lol, thanks.

I love your curved space, Lizzie! :rose:
Yeah? Well I like your curved... oh I don't know. You know what I mean.

Gorgeous. Simply stunning.
💋💋

Gorgeous!!:rose:
Thank you. 🌹

Oh, that's so classy, I love it!

I'd like to be able to come up with something profound, yet scientifically sound. For some reason, though, my brain is yelling 'Nanu nanu' instead. Which also dates me somewhat...
Oh Numi. I am always glad when you like my image. Ever since that F you gave me, my throat turned dry when you come visiting with your red pen. 😱
😁
Wow! This created a massive disturbance of the space-time continuum....in my pants.
Oh it did? Funny I always wondered about the length scale of your disturbances.

Oh, Lizzie, that is beautiful. You replicated the pose quite well, too. Love the vulcan gesture as well, you sexy nerd.:D
Thank you JRP. Your museum is always a pleasure.

I love Star Trek and the way you bring that classic to this classic pose from a myth that was not so much big bang as big no more banging for Uranus. Your lovely Venus might have been enough to help him grow new ones.
Lol thank you for the big bang bits. I am glad you enjoyed this one.

You ladies are beautiful and amazing.
I could never have the courage to share my vulnerability in this manner.

Kudos! :rose:

It looks great Lizzie  but it's hard to believe you're cold when we can't see you shivering and can't your nip...err goosebumps. You look like you stepped out of A Literotica Carol. You're the Girl of Christmas past...no wait the creepy and mysterious one was the Girl of Christmas Yet to Come.

What day is it?

Cheers

Someone's eager today!;)

Beautiful Lizzie.
This suits your body frame.
I was rather eager, wasn't I?
Thank you Icie. :D

I really like this pic. It's got a kind of mysteriousness about it. Very nice.
Hello Xerxes, thank you. I didn't think I would like it, but I ended up liking it as well.
Beautiful! Such a perfect subject for you . . . alluring, but shrouded in mystery as you so often are. :rose:
Thank you dear curator. Mysterious! Me? I am anything but that. :D

I don't know about that, what I know with certain amount of certainty is that if it is Tuesday, it must be ...
Right okay.

That is a near perfect recreation!!! The lines and the draping...absolutely awesome!!!!
Thank you CJ. I didn't quite get the other elbow to be visible and I was sad about that.

I don't think I've got one for this pose, but I see you've got it perfectly. Nice lighting on you, and you sure don't look cold.
Guess you have a chance to pose and shoot. :D
Thank you Ms. G.

Beautifully done, Lizzie. There's a rather mysterious air about it, even sinister - must be the hood, I think. :rose::kiss:
I thought it was rather sinister too, with the darkness in the hood. I now wish I did a different edit there but then again, I do enjoy a sinister me now and then.

Such creatively beautiful depictions and brave efforts all round.. BRAVO!
