A friend complimented my laugh AND my sense of humour. Not only was the compliment charming, but I didn't get squirmy and uncomfortable about it.. I felt recognised,
That's awesome and as Fara said, there are times where you can just tell when someone is being sincere. I get your sense of humor and I am sure you have a great laugh as well. PS, awesome shoes, do they really light up like that or is that photoshop?
Always good to spread a smile if you can and it's touching you got someone as awesome as Cookie to smile/feel better about her day.

Sorry, I was impatient; you are my wheel friend, I had to share it!
I am not allowed until G is here because it's not safe ( I was a walking aid user until relatively recently and have not the best balance in the world. Tbh, it's a crazy idea, but we only live once! )
Do you think a middle aged woman in heelies being pulled around will scare the kids ?

Well that's good....not the waking aid bit...well it is good you seem to not need to use it anymore, due to the use of past tense here....um...what was I saying? Yes oh yes, good to be safe, especially partaking an act like that...wether you are a current, former or an individual who has never used a walker. I've tried her lies a handful of times and even with all my years of skating, it took some getting used to.
Exactly...you live but once, so have fun and enjoy things whole possible. To hell with the kids, if they have a problem with you having fun, that's their issue. Hello you're probably more likely to et some offering you pointers, especially if it's a skater crowd...roller skates/blades or even the board users. Have fun and take your time!

Yes, definitely in the past. I think I hung on to my walking stick too long really, I was relying on it for confidence. I took it to my first meet ups with people from here, for example, but barely used it. I was out on Friday, for a long day, and didn't even think about taking it. I am not really sure when the switch over happened. But it definitely has.
I'd probably get myself into trouble if I ever had a walking stick/cane, smacking ignorant folk upside the head like Yoda beat down R2 with his gimli stick. Probably won't be shouting "Mine, mine, mine"....unless senility has kicked in....or I'm trying to disguise my awesomeness by way of acting like a crazy old hermit.
It's good to know when we need help with something, but it's even better when we pick ourselves up, not even realizing it and we've surpassed our own expectations.
Great to hear and keep up the awesome work. Just a reminder, make sure wherever you practice with G that the ground is as smooth as possible. Lost track of how many times I got tripped up by the tiniest amount of debris. But take your time ad whit yourself, ok?

Well hopefully you decide to give that a try someday as well. Ok, maybe skip the prequels...unless you're a completist. In all seriousness though, Epiaodes 1-3 weren't unbearable, but they are missing the magic of the original trilogy. Just hope JJ think he can "copy and paste" the original trilogy, The Force Awakens was a nice homage/declaration that things would be getting back to the vibe of the earlier movies, but something new would be nice.
But remember to live a little too...if you feel like you're getting the hang of it, explore things, try going on your own for a while. Damn shame I can't be your skating buddy to Leo you in person, but I'm sure you'll do wonderfully.
Another masterpiece by Meekme....thank you for sharing and that is a fantastic piece of artwork there!
