I laughed hard!!! when I posted a get to know people thread. One of the respondents posted that they would pass on the thread then proceeded to make 7 more independent posts on the first two pages none of which had anything to do with the original post and appeared to just be chating up some sort of hijack click. Lol much fun much fun.

A friend complimented my laugh AND my sense of humour. Not only was the compliment charming, but I didn't get squirmy and uncomfortable about it.
Cause it was sincere? Some people are just masters of reaching out to others.
Running late, but I wanted to say WMMSOLT yesterday...
I talked to cookie on the phone. She sounded okay. Tired. I got her to laugh a bit.

It is a confusing sentence, for sure.
Duolingo really is a treasure trove of odd sentences, and those are the ones that stick with me whereas I completely forget how to say normal stuff.
I remember sentences like:
