What's with all the relative newbies giving the "Watch out for hazing" speech to all the other newbies?
Hazing suggest some sort of universal rite-of-passage. There is no such activity on the general board. People usually get pretty much what they deserve. As Conager, for example, I was not hazed in the least bit by anyone.
As Query, I got zero grief as well until I had the temerity to object to Robdownsouth usual line of questioning to newbies, "Do ypu have children? How would you feel if....<insert much hyped potempkin tale of self-inflicted grief from a decade ago...>" when someone points out that his behavior of insulting others' children is sophmoric and despicable. It amuses me that Conager had no children and Rob waddled on by.
The third foray into the forum where I made an effort to avoid being snarky with others was also well received.
