Hello, I just want to throw ot an idea I have been holding onto. I've been looking for stories set in old Scotland, involving Scottish warriors either ravaging women or being captured and violated. I basically prefer them because they are another type of men that wore relatively exhibitionist clothing (the kilt) and lived lives of sex and booze. If anyone has written stories like this, or is interested in it, please reply.

Bursting bubbles is so fun, everybody should do it. This one is mine so ha. :devil:

Ancient scots were mostly farmers, and fishermen. They have a history of being warriors too, but that was in the short time of year after getting their harvest and before the snow got too deep. Also wasn't battle after battle. There were clans that would battle once every five years or so.

What you are talking about is the better in the old days stories. Like every grandpa walked twenty miles to the school, uphill in a snowstorm. Which is actually possible but beside the point.

Truth, the scots did fight against the brits, there is a movie about that very thing. The scots lost and not the only time they did fight, mostly because the brits went and stole their king's chair, which was a rock, I kid you not. Scots have a history of battle in their history, so does every single other country. I mean the Swiss were feared mercenaries at one point, sort of why they are neutral, everybody kept paying them to not fight.

Another truth, the kilt is relatively new to Scotland, fifteen hundreds I think it was. William Wallace didn't lead a horde of kilt wearing scots, he lead a horde of scots wearing the same thing as the brits.

Thank you for the info, but you just described a possible setting. You could write the story set during the times they fought against the brits. You can say one of the fighters was captured by the men. You could also write a story about an unlucky scot that decided to walk around in his kilt and ended up losing it somehow, leading to humiliation and forced orgasm.

I'm just looking for stories involving men in scotland during past times. If it's acurate to history then fine

While the snipped reply may be true, it doesn't do much to further the story. Whether in Hollywood or Lit, the stories provided to consumers takes a suspension of belief to enjoy the tale.

Fuck history. Fuck reality. Fantasy rules as far as fiction is concerned. Write what you want, make it fun and exciting, and let the target audience tell you how well the tale was told.

I enjoy history, and I enjoy realistic tales of how things were, but that doesn't stop me from also enjoying the fabricated tales of how things could have happened.

Bring on the kilt-wearing Scottish savages. Hell, bring on the story of how the Scottish reclaimed their independence from the UK and how they celebrated in honor of ancient times.

Any historical fiction (set more than 20 years ago) can exploit a mix of:

* history
* stereotypes
* fantasy

The author gets to decide which predominates to propel the story. Most erotica requires massive suspension of disbelief anyway, so the reality mix is easily adjusted to obtain a desired effect. Did historical Scots warriors REALLY drunkenly ravage the populace whilst kilt-flipping? Whatever. If it make for an interesting story, just do it.
