Blame it on hormones, the way we were raised and how it is perceived that woman are emotional beings and if we are/or appear to be reserved in nature then we are probably frigid bitches or flirty/friendly probably a bit of a ho- bag.
I hide the irrationality and the more than slightly crazy behaviour behind a mask of kindness, silliness and friendliness. It's a great disguise.

I have about 10 women friends and about ten times that men friends.
My women friends get all emotional and have 20 different moods a day. My men friends have 2 moods - hungry and don'tinteruptthefooty. They only show emotion when their team wins.
Much simpler to deal with.

A friend of mine is a manager, and she told me that she never enjoyed working in teams that are mostly female (too much bitchiness over little things) or mostly male (everything becomes about their ego). The bitchiest and most neurotic people I know are men. Nasty and backbiting gossip is generally fucking dripping with testosterone.
