How many people fall off of ladders? Both the FBI and CDC have done reports showing gun related deaths are outnumbered by bicycle and falling related deaths. We need more laws to keep bicycles and and ladders out of the hands of minors... we also need to raise the legal limit of minor to include persons 35 years of age or up to 45 if still living with their parents.

Half of American history is made up though. What you get taught in schools is so far removed from the truth that it's physically painful to anyone outside America when you start spouting it.
Even Hollywood loves to rewrite history so that Americans save the day. Just look at Argo. The movie goes out of it's way to say Britain and Canada did nothing yet it's very clearly documented in every non-US country that Canada did most of the work and it was in fact the US that did barely anything.
