Otoh there's nothing a'tall wrong with simpler, more innocent scenes. I am quite taken with P'tor's oatmeal poem (though I'm still not sure who got the blueberries). There's a feeling of purity reading it: the tone of love and acceptance really shines. And it's just oatmeal. :)

Thanks Angie - I think. Each of us have to find our own approach to 30 in 30. You explored forms and jazz, mine may tend to a day in life approach with occasional digressions.
 
Harry, your 1-18 is a lovely breath of fresh air. Has me looking forward to more spring days, barefoot in my yard, tending my garden. Not so much mowing the lawn, mostly because i have to wear shoes for that. ;)
 
Love that snowy sonnet, Champ. I guess you are a sonneteer! (I wonder if T-zed is giving out hats for this?) BTW, I especially like the dog tumbles of chilled delight. That is perfect! :D

And butters, Im ok, just having a whine in poetry and trying to make it touch on the universal as well as the personal, im sure most have felt like that at some point.

Hehe... I understand the masochistic streak. I'm not sure I'd even written thirty poems, in total, before I did the last one. It wasn't quite as painful as I feared it would be. It's been pretty fun this time, so far, with such a big group of people who are also doing it. My strategy this time: when all else fails, go silly. :D
