The immigration reduction movement can convince Hispanic and Asian Americans that never-ending mass immigration is NOT in their interest. Logic and common sense are on the side of immigration reductionists.

Numbers USA or some other reduction group needs to reach out to these communities and let them know the harm population growth causes to ALL Americans, them included.

They should buy a series of half-hour infomercials on Univision and other ethnic media and provide statistical arguments explaining the harm to quality of life caused by population growth and the role mass immigration has in population increase.

I can't believe Hispanics and Asians are completely unreasonable. A reasoned argument with facts should defeat knee jerk emotional arguments of the unlimited immigration activists.

I remember as a kid when people were moving to California from other parts of the US.

Once people got here, they were criticized by the media and the developers for "wanting to close the door behind them." It didn't stop slow growth advocates though.

Today, however, we don't hear this from the Hispanic and Asian newcomers. I believe that deep down these same feelings would be there if we can convince them of the harm of population growth.

I don't believe they are that different from previous generations of newcomers to California. Why would they want others to keep coming once they are here?

Why are you anti-American? We are nation of immigrants.

Borders are the problem. Without borders there would be no immigration, no emigration, merely population shifts. Everybody could live where they want. That's freedom!

But how to pay for services for all the people who cluster in desirable places? Easy: a density tax. Pay a lot to live somewhere hot and less for a place that's not. Simple supply and demand, yeah?

Not me. All my people were here before the USA existed. The rest of you are fuggin wetbacks, not me. When my people washed up on the beach there were no McDonalds or Motel 6s or welfare, there was just lotsa toil waiting for them. Some one built the goddamned pier your people trod upon, asshole.

Stick to writing. When you think the results are never good.
