I wish I could still recite that word for word. It's such a beautiful poem. I will brush up on it when I have an opportunity.![]()
My grandfather, being German and a fine scholar, had much German literature at his fingertips, but somehow that one passed him by. I can still remember the look in his eyes when I read it to him. Glad you love it, too.
