No more sadness

I noticed this morning that both profiles went back to the same place which was a neat trick.

Welcome back!

I wish I could still recite that word for word. It's such a beautiful poem. I will brush up on it when I have an opportunity. :rose:

My grandfather, being German and a fine scholar, had much German literature at his fingertips, but somehow that one passed him by. I can still remember the look in his eyes when I read it to him. Glad you love it, too.

I used to sing it with my mother's old business partner eons ago.

A moment to cherish.

It's kind of a pretty word for sadness, though.

Yes, thanks, that probably had something to do with it too. :) I told Laurel if GP wasn't available I'd take DreadPirateRoberta, luckily GP was there for me. RoxyMoron tempted me too.....oh well, too late now. :D

so it is to be...

hmmmm...

is it alright for me to take a bit more time with the corpse? tess?

for to embrace such change
takes time
and connection
and disconnection
and burials of sorts...

were that you to have simply vanished
(as many do)
the vertigo of confusions
would be all the less compelling to embrace.

hello guilty pleasure

gertrude warned to see the fine substance strangely
and so,
on to oakland we go

Elle Mocambo would have also worked.

Thank you, Rickie.

You look strangely familiar. The Tess-corpse is yours to do with as you choose. :)

well thanks for that, but strangely enough i already knew what the word meant. i was wondering why she chose that particular username - sadness/melancholia are too often close acquaintances with poets.

'Ich weiß nicht, was soll es bedeuten,
Daß ich so traurig bin,'
unfortunately i don't speak or read german, des, but i looked it up. thankyou :rose:

Oh sweetie, I wasn't sad, it had something to do with reading French novels. :)
good!
