Wow, we made another page.

I remember Naughton being known as "Disco David Naughton" for a while.

I always get him confused with James Naughton, an actor I like.

I had some cool Tees and still have a few - haven't worn them this summer, oddly enough. More sports shirts than not.

I had a few nice shirts I wish I still had, because they'd fit again. A few "Charlies Angels" or "Farrah" shirts, one of which I never saw again. It was a very pretty image with a green background and Farrah, with a rose in her hair.

In high school and college I had a big collection of soccer jerseys, softball jerseys, t-shirts and hockey jerseys. ALL of them were either stolen by my mother's drug selling, thief of a boyfriend to support his habit, or were "borrowed" by my roommates and later girlfriends.

I had a few valuable things stolen over the years. I also lost a few things (pages of original comic art now worth a pretty penny). Never easy to accept or deal with.

NRSE - when you read this - you either need to ask 1 more question to end this thread (we're close) or think of a really apropos one to begin the new, upcoming one. Or both.

Don't get to excited about that comic art. Unless you had some original Marvel Stan Lee stuff or other really early stuff, the market is really rough to make good money in. I sold a signed Batman once for over $100. The next week another guy brought in the same book with the same signature, couldn't sell it for $10. The right spot at the right time or you just got something that you like.

28 long boxes of pretty much shit shows for it on my part.

What's funny: The idiot bf left my pulp fiction magazines and books alone, which would have garnered 100Xs what he received from the jerseys and shirts. He was just too fucked in the head to go to one of the four antiquarians in the city.

One of the books he left I sold years later. I needed some money to cover rent, we were a few dollars short. I expected to receive $5. The man looked at the book, pulled out $500 in Benjamins, and showed me that a book like that one sold at auction for $700. I knew the $500 was good for him: Could make some profit off it :)

I follow Comic Book art very closely Coach, sorry to disagree with you - the market has now gone through the roof. Stuff I bought for $10 a page is now worth hundreds - that isn't even the biggest stuff I once had. I was offered $3000 for one of my pages - a George Perez page from Avengers 161 (the guy was trying to get the entire book) and Perez stuff is going up. I had pages by Perez, Rich Buckler, John Buscema - all highly collectible. With signed stuff now (I have a number of sketches still) verifying the signature is now a must.

I'm closing in on 40 boxes but it'd be nearing 60 if I hadn't started purging a bit. If I had my 1991 collection, I could buy a house - for cash. I had almost ALL the major Marvels (save for the first 13 FFs and the first 7 ASM and a few other things). DD, X-Men, Avengers - complete runs from 1 up. I was a major collector for a lot of years, plus my oldest friend owned the local comics shop (and is still a bit of a legend, sadly long gone)

I remember the first time I ever tried soda. We grew up very poor and extras didn't happen. Mom had taken us to Ohio to visit an Uncle. He had this stuff called pop in his fridge. When it was offered at dinner I liked the name 7-up so I tried some. Then I thought it was strong and nasty. Also first time I saw a TV set. An old black and white box type but my twin and I were fascinated. Our son during his drug phase robbed us blind. Took a huge coin collection from my husband and some coins and trinkets my dad had gotten me during his military travels. Power tools, chainsaws you name it. It all came up missing. When he became violent we had to kick him out. Hardest thing as a Mom to do. We had tried every other measure and he refused help. It was during the winter and I sat up at night and cried worried about him. A few neighbors thought us terrible. He was 18. 6'4" and about 275. They never faced that when strung out. Still it took its toll. I'm ready for some happy times and celebrations. And lots and lots of champagne. But for now I'm eating Nutter Butter cookies. Do you all have those BrettJ?

<<<T4T>>> - just great big hugs!! :)

Kudos, high fives, and gold stars, as well. What you have done for that boy (and yourself) is just amazing!

Brettj - think we all have a comic book story . . . while my brother and I were in college, mom decided one day to clean out the rooms. She threw out my complete collection of Lone Ranger comic books and my brother's complete collection of Tarzan comic books. She also tossed out a complete set of mint condition Tops baseball cards. Thanks, mom. :(

I seem to have picked up some kind of virus or bug on the computer - only ONE thing could've done that which likely will mean some maneuvering tonight. I am hoping the Malware removal program will do it, but if not ...

I installed only TWO new programs, one of which was to prevent the Cryptolock from happening again. It came on a friend's recommendation - the guy who built this computer. If this thing is buggered, back it goes. I can and will use the laptop for a few days.

My mom never touched my books - she knew better.

Congrats T4T, hope things continue to go well for you. Lunch at Copper River. A chocolate shake from Rush's would have been the perfect dessert.

Have a few baseball cards, not worth too much now. A lot of cards from the 1960s got thrown away or lost in a move.

I haven't had a shake in almost forever. I've been bad today with having things not good for me. But the fish and chips at Joeys are too good to resist when a craving hits. The server I like (Britt, oddly enough) wasn't there tonight, my server wasn't with it. I stopped at 4 pieces of fish, although I could have managed a fifth - it would have been greedy and not logical.

Ran into a (much-older) friend who sadly just lost one of her friends yesterday. I feel sorry for her, although I can't say I ever warmed to him. Still, it's a loss to her. One of our mutual friends is also (more or less) lost to her due to dementia. My friend's health isn't great either, but neither is mine and I'm younger.

Decided that since I can't sleep as I'd like to, going to write some more. My latest seems to have pleased some but not others. No one outright hated it, but I liked it more than they did. Still, I got an idea for a new chapter and some other stuff. I wish I could write the way I used to, a number of stories in one night. I'd be back in my "zone" with wings on and I'm sure my publishers would be happy.

Hoping all are in good spirits, I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for a bit. Hey to our SC friends - do both of you read the forum or just the one of you?

It is always interesting what people like to read. While anyone can make up a name on the internet, I think if you are going to leave negative comments instead of legitimate criticism, you should be required to user your username. It has been a long time since I have written anything. I like what I have read of your stories.

Usually him posting, although it is occasionally both.

"Scarlett" got some criticism that was thought out and intelligent, although I didn't agree with it. Adam, the "author" of the story, actually addresses that in Chapter Two. I'm using a fun and creative way to stick my tongue out at the critics.

WHEN - because I have trolls following me - I get negative comments anonymously with no validity at all to them (ie - "your stories suck) I now delete them. If someone has taken the time to offer something constructive, they stay. I totally agree with you that anonymous comments should not be allowed, but LIT disagrees and so, they stay.

Glad you have read some of my work. I know all of it won't please everyone, but I do try to write fun "erotica" (sometimes porn, sometimes romance) with some thought behind it. I can honestly admit to having NEVER "hacked one out". Written fast, yes - but the best work I could manage in short periods of time. I might write longer pieces, but I am also trying to focus on regaining my much-missed career (and cash)

Hello to both of you regardless. The only other couple I recall posting (usually separately) was Warlock and his wife. SI's hubby posted on a handful of occasions in the original Lounge thread.

Good morning to the Bistro! . . . hope nobody is hung over from T4T's champagne party last nite :) . . . and trust that nothing more than corks were popped! ;)

Strong coffee, with a hint of hazelnut flavor, is ready and waiting.

Good Morning to everyone else:kiss::rose: and Brett I think U should leave the Link to your Stories on - dont always have time for reading but just in case I do;)

Oh invstor that coffee was much needed. I actually did get a tiny bit hungover. I'm not a drinker and usually stop after one glass of wine. We had friends over to celebrate. After the little one went to bed I had polished off 3 glasses before noticing. I'm usually up and rearing to go. This morning at 6 am I was like OY!!!! Did managed to get ready and little guy off to school. We are planning a surprise beach weekend next weekend to celebrate our adoption. I'm thinking Charleston. Going with another couple and our grandsons best friend. They are adoptive Grandparents as well so we really click.

Nice to see so many posts, hello to all.

The link to my stories is always there LING - one LIT friend set it so it appears with each post. If you were referring to my latest, I usually only plug them once.

A few things to do today, but not many. I'm up early (for me) and have been told it will be a scorcher - no kidding!

Happy mid morning BrettJ, Ling ,T4T, Investor,Coacheric, Blase, SCCouple and anyone I might have missed. I am still in need of coffee. Or soda:) I headed out early to wrap up birthday shopping. Next Tuesday my Nephew is having a Super Mario party. I am all finished with my shopping. Now for the gift wrapping.

Question of the day time....If a fellow Litster should sneak a peak into your bedroom would they blush or be surprised at anything they might find ? Would they be outright shocked or maybe turned on ? So spill the beans what all private goodies do we have tucked away under the covers :)

Usually I go first but today you guys have the floor. Share away ! And if you like even take a fun silly guess at what a fellow Bistro Litster might have . I think Tallcajun would have lots of rope :) and be very proficient at knot tying ✌

Hello to NRSE. My apartment is a gigantic mess - I have too much stuff, not enough room. My bedroom is a disgrace and I think LIT members would be shocked. I've always been messy, most writers are. Add book collector to that and ...

I have almost all of my books in the bedroom and am trying to cut back, but ...

I will be having coffee in a few hours and have lots to drink right now. I stocked up, just in case I get thirsty. Sadly, the pineapple pop (soda) wasn't great but I can drink it. Most of the soda is Pepsi, but I did buy a large bottle of Fresca. Always liked that and you couldn't get it here in Canada for a long while. It mixes nicely with Gin, btw (I don't have any Gin)

Even though a woman should always cum first. My own bedroom is filled with the most exquisite forms of erotica. I think that words can stimulate even more than visuals. Since you still can make your own. The best thing a writer can do is make you feel what is being shared. Otherwise the words on that page are almost empty.

I wish my bedroom was filled with a wonderful woman instead. This is not a bad second option though. It may be much better than climbing the walls. Mine are way too old anyway.

I don't think anyone would be shocked or surprised. Pretty typical bedroom. I am very neat and tidy so maybe that would be noticed. If they checked my husbands closet they may be shocked at the amount of old Westerns he has collected. The Rifleman, Bat Masterson, Bonanza, Gunsmoke are his porn.

My room is small so we have it a bit packed. With the queen size bed, there is not a lot of room. I put a shelf up alone the ceiling line that has all of my DVD's and CD's. Under the bed on my side is where all the sex toys are hidden. Various sizes and shapes :)

My bedroom:

Place where my grandmother died in 1992.

Wife has "Girlied" it up with too many stuffed animals, so she won't think about the death, and the ghost that she denies seeing and hearing every now and then.
