I find noises and dirty talk arousing, but around here, I only hear such sounds on video or when neighbors out back are overly loud.

BrettJ in Canada - new page!

I think we are less than 100 post away ? I hope everyone is enjoying the question of the day. I know I am loving learning all these details about my Bistro friends. Please feel free to offer a question of your own or share a story. I know it isn't morning but I'm going to ask a question for the evening ? Is there any one thing that just does it for you ? That instant turn on ? Or some signal a partner gives that you just know you are about to get fuc*ed ?

For me I am very attracted to the more mature man. Seldom does a 20 something turn my head. The suit and tie or nice shirt and slacks. Intelligent, sexy nerdy, arousingly geeky math and numbers type. VERY sexy. Totally has me biting my lip and thinking oh hell yes I want to taste me some of that. I know BrettJ has mentioned several times that he prefers to dress nicely. I wish more guys did. Nothing wrong with jeans. But a polo and khakis. Or white dress shirt and cufflinks he** yes !!!!

There are several things that attract my attention - usually a nice dress with high heels. Add real stockings to the mix (not pantyhose) and you have my attention. It's in the details for me.

I have a few suits, several white dress shirts (two of them are two-toned, white on white - including one that is French cuff). Wearing a type of khaki right now, to be honest about it. I don't wear blue jeans - ever!

I work in either dress shirt and tie, slacks - not the "IBM uniform" of white shirt, black tie, and black or dark blue pants - most days. My casual wear is a polo and slacks, mostly khaki or the like.

I am all for a nicely dressed man. Slouchy and grungy does nothing for me. And I could add a turn off. Wearing a cap backwards or sideways. Pants hanging down. Just slouchy and unkempt I wouldn't look twice. I'm thinking our Bistro fella's are all very attractive!

Certainly there are a lady's features and dress that catch my attention and require a second look . . . but that is not what matters the most. It's the eye contact! The eyes are truly the window to the soul.

Does she take a second look as well? Does she make eye contact? And do those eyes say "yes, I am interested, are you?" That is no guarantee of things yet to come . . . but once the conversation begins, her eyes will fairly quickly let you know if there could be more.

Years ago I was with friends at a club, but up in the balcony looking down at the dance floor and the high-top tables that surrounded the floor. It was a very crowded night and that area was packed with people. But an particular lady, with a group of friends, caught my attention. As I looked back to the area over the next twenty minutes or so, she was frequently approached and asked to dance, but rejected (pleasantly) all offers.

Then I looked again, and she glanced up to balcony . . . and we made eye contact. A few minutes later, it happened again . . . no smiles, no waves, no other overt action, just eye contact from that distance. But eye contact held, and not quickly looking away.

Well, hell, I had to at least go down there and ask her to dance . . . expecting rejection. She saw me walking up to her, and the eyes said "yes, let's dance." It was the start of a nice relationship.

I won't be wearing those pants tomorrow - I just spilled Cherry Coke on them!

Oddity - I am a Pepsi (Diet now) drinker from way back, but I think Cherry Pepsi (which is harder to find as well) is only so-so. I love Cherry and many of the flavored Cokes. Oddity again - I think Diet Pepsi tastes like Pepsi (although the closest to its original is Diet Dr. Pepper) but I think Diet Coke (bleahhh) tastes nothing at all like Coke.

BrettJ in Canada - home from errands

The only way I can drink diet Coke is from a fountain: cans and bottles takes flat.

Diet Dr Pepper is awesome! I've been drinking (diet) cherry Pibb Zero or cherry Mello Yello Zero lately...

RJ, I haven't tried Mr. Pibb as it wasn't available here before. With the new McDonalds (and now, 7-11 too) machines, it's now available. Some American flavors are different, due to standards in Canada and the US. Until just a few years ago, NO "clear" drinks could contain caffeine. Mountain Dew here was classified as such and it didn't really sell. Now that it contains caffeine (like its US counterpart) the sales have climbed.

I drink far too much "pop" (soda) but I don't smoke and drink only on occasion. I don't have a girlfriend (and likely never will) and my libido has waned, so Diet Pepsi and the like are about as close to a vice as I now have.

God, I'm almost depressing myself.

Mountain Dew without caffeine isn't even worth the expense of making LOL

I drank it as a kid before slowly graduating to colas. Those are what I drink most, although a company called Faygo (which I know to be a US company) was revived here a few years back (likely made in Canada by a company called Cott, who also used to make my much-missed RC Cola). I like their drinks (and they're reasonable) and noticed today a Pineapple Pop! Bought a bottle to sample, I'm usually disappointed in them - too sweet. The Jamaican restaurant has one that is incredible, not too sweet or tart. If I like the Faygo, I will buy some more at a later date.

To answer a question previously posted by my co-hostess ...

NRSE, one I've held for a long time is to be seduced. It has never happened. There are different scenarios, but I like the lingerie & heels under the trench coat one the best. Add to that now (I've come to like them) a jaunty little fedora or cute top hat. The look varies a bit on occasion, but that would be my dream come true. For some guys, it's the maid or cheerleader - yawn, I've written those, but they aren't mine. A little tease first will do it for me every time.

Again ... welcome to Fantasy Island. De plane, de plane ...!

PS Bistro Patrons - ever had one of those days where your typing just isn't working?

PSS - note Heather's jaunty little chapeau in my new Avatar?

Oh, to see you shrug that black and white coat off :)

Nice to see you - you haven't been here for a while.

To answer NRSE's other comment - yes, we're now less than 90 posts away from the thread ending, although it won't end until LIT actually closes it. I will then start a new one with a near-similar title so you can all easily find me / us.

Not only do I prefer to dress nicely, if I had the money, I'd own Armani. I like being in a suit, but I am the type of man to whom a suit - is suited.

T4T, I loathe someone wearing a cap without the bill facing the front. My boys know that will get a quick correction from me. Pants should also fit.

For soft drinks, I'm not a fan of diet drinks, although Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Mt. Dew are OK. I am fine with any dink not containing caffeine (i.e. Caffeine Free Coke). As a Southerner I would rather have sweet tea than a soft drink. I find myself liking cream soda these days.

When I was younger I swore I would never have a job where I wore a tie. That didn't work so well. Most days are a golf shirt and slacks, but some days are a coat and tie. I do try to wear ties that are not boring, but sometimes you have to go conservative.

A turn on for me is confidence. When she is confident, she is sexy. Certain clothes she wears are a good indication we are going to have some fun.

I wish I could wear a tie more often. I enjoy the whole "suited up" (thanks to NPH for that) look.

It's been a good long while since I got to dress up. Another thing I miss about y'all-know-who.

BrettJ awesome new AV. I think she could seduce the pants off anyone !
SCCouple so happy to have you both here and sharing. Ydahecnot you most certainly should visit more often. I happen to have a black and white houndstooth coat. Have you been peeking in my closet ? I will say it again how much I am enjoying you all sharing. Thank you !

BrettJ I am a cherry coke girl or regular Pepsi. I don't drink much soda bit I do like the stuff. On occasion I like a grape or orange crush. Do you have orange crush there BrettJ ?

Yes, here in Canada, Crush is owned by Pepsi. They have several varieties. It was their pineapple I tried and hated. FAR too sweet - I like fruit stuff to have a bit of "tang" to it.

I have some nice coats, a few gorgeous leather ones as well.

Idiot neighbor finally pushed 1 too many buttons tonight - and still is. Sent a letter to the landlords, not that much will come of it.

That's an old pic of Heather. From what a photog friend told me, she doesn't look quite like that now - a few too many "tokes" and she's gotten too thin. I was a member of her site for a long time and towards the end, saw that my friend was dead-on the money. I agree though NRSE - in those days, wowie-wow! I haven't dated too many redheads.

Orange Crush was my favorite drink as a child. I would like to try Pineapple Crush, not sure if anything is too sweet for me.

I am sure if you looked on-line, you could find some. One of my favorite drinks as a youth / teen was "Tahiti Treat" (made by Canada Dry at the time) It has since been revived, although not 100% as it was. It's a bit like a Fruit Punch soda.

Now I know why I love NRSE so much..She has great taste. Saturday at a wedding I wore a white long sleeve shirt with broader blue pinstripes, open collar, cream colored levis and polished back dress shoes.
Needless to say, I think a great smile, sparkling eyes, and that look of confidence do it for me too. That and the appearance that she pays attention to looking good whether it be in a skirt and blouse, or pants suit, or slacks and casual shirt. Her hair should look managed and not totally wild. If she flirts with me with her eyes, plays with her hair, and mouths or tongues the rim of her glass, I know my chances are really good!

Did I say Nurses turn me on too!! And Nurses who carry on great conversations and come up with great questions! Now what are my chances?? :rose:

Heather could do no wrong in my eyes in those days.

I've met a few of the ladies over the years, but never more than one at a time...

Lucky you. I did have 1 person I knew on LIT who lived nearby, but we lost touch and I can't remember who it was or if he is even still on LIT.

It's not entirely luck, Brett. There's work involved.

My profile has several personal ads linked in it.

I post in a variety of threads and try to say something interesting and relevant.

I do contact Lit ladies, but never randomly. A message may only be along the lines of "I share your love of Valrhona chocolate", but it will be relevant to something in her profile or posts.

You, my friend, are a well-liked and trusted figure here on Lit. And you live near a bigger city than I do.

I honestly see no reason why you shouldn't be able to meet the occasional Lit lady. I'm pretty sure that someone who has posted roughly ten times as much as I have is better known here...

Blase, I honestly don't know anyone on LIT who lives anywhere near me. LEIGH does, but haven't seen her in quite a while now. The person I was supposed to meet was of the masculine gender, just for coffee.

I've reached out several times to say hello. Almost all the women I used to chat with have left LIT. I was once active, but most of the threads I used to post in were closed. I check for my old friends and most are no longer active on the site.

There are lots of reasons I haven't met anyone - the primary one being that most of the LIT ladies I know are Americans.

I wasn't on LIT to find dates, more to create. The Forums came next. I was on LIT chat for a lot of years.

If any Canadian locals are out there, feel free to say hello.

I didn't originally come here to find dates. As I've recounted elsewhere, I came to read the stories, started posting a bit and wound up stumbling into an online relationship, which helped me to realize that this forum was a place that played to my strengths.

You seem to have come to that realization yourself, Mr I-found-a-career-writing-erotica...

I hope I come across as concerned rather than pushy. It's just that you often mention your lack of a romantic life, and the resigned tone that you take seems a shame to me when there's an opportunity right here on Lit to try to change that.

I'm not saying it's easy to meet people in here. But I am saying that someone with your intelligence, imagination and kind nature shouldn't count himself out.
