Just start writing with a definite end in sight, the scene will flow on its own. That usually works for me.

2k is the higher end of the scale. Otherwise, I'm on the same page as you.

I have great trouble defining the end and so it is rarely in sight.

I'll complete one year on Lit in exactly one month. :nana:

The year went by too fast. :(

Hey Bard. Didn't realize it's you due to the new name. :) Work pressure leaves no time for anything else.

How're the stories coming up? :rose:
Hope it's not too much pressure. :rose:

I'm going to use Sammael Bard everywhere I'm getting published, hence the name change.

Story's coming up fine. Just have to write the remaining part, consisting mostly of smut. ;)

Sammael, huh? ;)

I hate my job sometimes. Right now, it sucks.

Pass me on the story when the smut is finished. I'd like to make sure slot A and slot B are well-described and working fine. :D

Why does the ticker across the bottom of the Today show say Friday, August, 1?

Maybe they need more coffee.

It never ceases to amaze me that such elementary mistakes are made.
All these computer things, time measured to microseconds, and they cannot even get the time right ?

Cake Forks

I went to our local Boot Fair this morning.

As usual, I bought something from the stall supporting the local Hospice.

Near the end of my time at the Boot Fair, I went back to the Hospice stall. They reduce everything at the end because they are given so much stuff to sell each week.

I bought two small cases of cutlery - six tea knives in stainless Sheffield steel with bone handles, and six EPNS cake forks. Why do I need cake forks? I don't eat cake except small pieces for birthdays. I had to clean and polish the cake forks. They now look beautiful. Both cases are probably pre-1939. The cases are worn and battered but the contents look unused.

I might try to sell them at our local auction. If I make a profit I'll give it to the Hospice.

I don't need cake forks!
