Donald Trump: I didn't expect business backlash to be "quite this severe"

On the heels of several major corporations distancing themselves from Donald Trump's various business interests, the Republican presidential candidate admitted Saturday that he didn't think the corporate backlash to his inflammatory comments about Mexican immigrants would be "quite this severe."

"I knew it was going to be bad because I was told this. All my life I have been told this: If you are successful, you don't run for office," Trump said in an interview on Fox News, addressing the recent spate of businesses that have severed their relationships with his brand. "I didn't know it was going to be quite this severe, but I really knew it was going to be bad."

My answer to "The Donald"

It's not because you're successful, it's not because you're rich, it's because you're a fucking horrible person that said some pretty fucking horrible things about Mexican immigrants and are unrepentant about it.

Newsflash: When fucking NASCAR distances themselves from you over some blatantly offensive shit you said, you done fucked up big time son.

View post is almost always good for a laugh with you. You know, when you're not being a complete psychotic douche.

You're always in such a hurry to show how little you know. If you had been paying attention since the LAST TIME Hillary ran for President you would know that I won't vote for her. I've expressed why many times.

Personally I'm watching Sanders. If it comes to it I'll vote for him in the Primaries and in the Presidential election if he gets the nod. If Hillary manages to get the spot I'll probably abstain in protest.

In other news: Voters are shifting to Democrats, flashing a warning for Republicans: The Gallup organization reported its latest findings on party identification late last week, and the report contained good news for the Democrats and a flashing yellow for Republicans.

The Democrats “have regained an advantage” over the GOP in party affiliation, Gallup’s Jeffrey M. Jones wrote in an accompanying analysis. Republicans, he added, “have seemingly lost the momentum they had going into last fall’s elections.”

Greece has become a battleground for the worst ideas of the 20th century: There will be no winners in this showdown between Left-wing fantasists and the European project’s true believers. It’s basically Hillary Clinton vs. Bernie Sanders….

Panama joins growing list of Latin American countries to boycott Trump’s Miss Universe pageant

Add Panama to the growing list of Latin American nations refusing to participate in this year's Miss Universe pageant, a contest partially owned by 2016 presidential candidate Donald Trump, after the business tycoon generated global backlash with disparaging remarks about Mexicans immigrating to the United States.

Organizers in Costa Rica and Mexico have also withdrawn from this year's contest.

"We reject the xenophobic and offensive statements by the owner of the Miss Universe pageant against our Mexican brothers and sisters, and therefore, against all Latin Americans," Teletica, the television network that organizes Miss Costa Rica, said Wednesday in a statement.

From "Miss Universe" to "Miss South 49th Street", if he can find anyone who can ignore his shit?

Actually, it's not Hillary that's promoting the severe austerity measures like have been put in force in Greece. That would be the GOP here. Think Wisconsin's economic debacle and Gov. Scott Walker.

debacle?

and I dont mean austerity.....I mean spending way beyond means, corruption, giving FREE STUFF to everyone

Something that can’t go on forever, won’t. Debts that can’t be repaid, won’t be. Promises that can’t be kept, won’t be. Plan accordingly.

The PASTY WHITE guy is making such promises and promised TAX INCREASES.....that worked well fro France and others

Yeah, debacle. Unless you think that Wisconsin's current financial status is a good thing. Slash taxes, cut spending, miss $108 million debt payment, job numbers that are absolute shit, tax revenue even worse than expected due to the depressed economy cause by his economic policies.

In March of last year Wisconsin had a $1 billion surplus (Not really, his administration uses a "cash accounting" method which only shows the amount of cash on hand, not including future debts rather than using Long Term Outstanding Debt so the $558 million in 20 year loans he took out aren't factored into his "surplus") through June of this year, Walker slashed taxes by $541 million, imposed severe austerity measures (cut spending by $300 million for the University of Wisconsin budget), and had actual tax receipts $173 million less than predicted. Wisconsin now faces an over $280 million deficit.

But you're wrong bout Greece. It's the forced austerity by the EU and the IMF which has driven Greece's economy even further toward the cliff, much like Scott Walker's has done to Wisconsin's.

Hillary Flashback: Sanctuary Cities Keep Everyone Safe

Hillary: the government was failing when they enforced the law, and kept future illegal alien voters for me out of the country…

Via Breitbart:

San Francisco’s sanctuary city policy is receiving harsh criticism after Wednesday’s murder of 32-year-old Kate Steinle by Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a illegal immigrant who has been deported five times and has been convicted of seven felonies.

On Sept. 6, 2007 at Dartmouth College while debating during her last attempt to become president, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton supported sanctuary cities saying they help ensure the “personal safety and security of all the citizens.”

Clinton said, “If local law enforcement begins to act like immigration officers what that means is that you will have people not reporting crimes. You will have people hiding from the police. And I think that is a real direct threat to the personal safety and security of all the citizens. So this is a result of the failure of the federal government and that’s where it needs to be fixed.”

When pressed if that means she supports the sanctuary cities policy Clinton replied, “Well, I don’t think there is any choice.”

Lawsuit Against Trump’s Scammy ‘University’ May Reveal What The Bastard’s Really Worth

It’s starting to look like the best glimpse America may really get of Donald Trump’s actual net worth will probably come from a discovery filing in a class-action lawsuit against his dumb fake “University,” rather than from his federal election financial disclosure forms. We can’t wait for Trump to condemn the people suing him as idiots and lightweights for falling for his distance-learning scam, just as he screamed at the New York AG who sued Trump “University” for fraud.

Chuckling as Trump swirls down the shitter.

ESPN Pulls Tournament From Trump National Golf Club in L.A.

ESPN today announced that it's moving its annual ESPY Celebrity Golf Classic, held the day before its L.A.-based ESPYs athletic awards, to Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach. The charity event is scheduled for July 14.

However, as one of the last holdouts among major brands that have ties with Trump, the PGA now is bearing more of the brunt of anti-Trump sentiment among Latinos. The L.A.-based National Hispanic Media Coalition threatened a boycott of PGA events at Trump's courses.

After we reported the NHMC's unhappiness with the PGA, the group said that a Trump Organization attorney contacted it and threatened to sue over its advocacy.

The nonprofit said it wouldn't back down.

It is legal to call The Donald an asshole isn't it?

San Francisco Sheriff Defends Releasing Illegal Immigrant Who Killed Woman On Sightseeing Pier…

649323_1280x720

Infuriating to say the least.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi has defended his office’s decision to release a Mexican man who was in the U.S. illegally and who is now suspected in the killing of a woman at a sightseeing pier.

Mirkarimi said that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency should earlier have issued an arrest warrant for Francisco Sanchez.

“ICE knew that he had been deported five times,” Mirkarimi said. “You would have thought he met a threshold that he required a court order or a warrant. They did not do that.”

Prosecutors on Monday charged Sanchez with murder in the death of Kathryn Steinle, who was shot and killed last Wednesday as she and her father took a walk on the popular Pier 14.

Steinle’s killing has brought criticism down on this liberal city because Sanchez had been deported repeatedly and was out on the streets after San Francisco officials disregarded a request from immigration authorities to keep him locked up.

San Francisco is one of dozens of cities and counties across the country that do not fully cooperate with federal immigration authorities. The city goes so far as to promote itself as a “sanctuary” for people in the country illegally.

In a jailhouse interview with a TV station, Sanchez, a 45-year-old repeat drug offender, appeared to confirm that he came to the city because of its status as a sanctuary.

“Most of the blame should fall squarely on the shoulders of the San Francisco sheriff, because his department had custody of him and made the choice to let him go without notifying ICE,” said Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, which wants tougher immigration enforcement.

Illegal Alien Who Caused Crash That Nearly Killed Family In AZ Deported 6 Times In 3 Years

Screen Shot 2015-07-07 at 10.44.16 AM

Via Fox News:

Officials say a 29-year-old man who caused a motor vehicle accident that nearly killed an Arizona family on Independence Day is an illegal immigrant who has been deported six times.

Sheriff’s deputies in Maricopa, Arizona, say Manuel Perez-Vasquez was under the influence of drugs when he drove head-on in the opposing lane of traffic on a road in the town about 30 miles south of Phoenix, Fox10Phoenix reported.

A woman and her two small children were traveling toward Perez-Vasquez when the mother noticed him driving in the wrong lane.

“She sees a car coming head on… so she immediately pulls over as far as she could off the side of the road and this car still comes and sideswipes [her]… totaling her car,” Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu told the station.

What’s the Point of a Deportation Policy If They Keep Coming Back?

From the midweek Morning Jolt:

How Many Deported Violent Criminals Re-Enter the U.S. Each Year? Now can we move past “is Donald Trump xenophobic” and get to a real discussion about deported criminals coming back into the country, sanctuary cities, border security, and our lax policies on illegal immigrants? Because it’s not just San Francisco… [Francisco] Sanchez, an undocumented immigrant, has been deported several times to his native Mexico and Immigration and Customs Enforcement blamed the San Francisco police for not honoring an immigration detainer earlier in the year. Sanchez has five previous convictions for re-entry after deportation, according to court records. He was on probation in Texas at the time of the shooting and served federal time for sneaking back into the country. In an exclusive jailhouse interview, a KGO-TV reporter asked the alleged gunman, “Did you keep coming back to San Francisco because you knew that they wouldn’t actively look for you to deport you?” Sanchez responded, “Yes.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had said in a statement that Sanchez was turned over to the San Francisco Police Department this past March on an outstanding drug warrant, and that the department requested that police notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement prior to his release so ICE officers could make arrangements to take custody. …it’s Laredo, Texas… Court records show murder suspect Juan Francisco De Luna Vasquez –was convicted twice of entering the country illegally. Vasquez was arrested Thursday after police found the body of his wife in the 800 block of Lane Street. He was caught by police after he fled the scene. Police say he also had a prior record with charges of assault and terroristic threats against his wife in 2006. They say Thursday’s suspected homicide is the third violent encounter reported between the couple. … it’s in Washington state… Family members suspect jealousy may have led to the gruesome slayings of an Othello teen and her 3-year-old son found shot and severely burned in a remote part of Franklin County.

Maria G. Cruiz-Calvillo, 18, and Luis F. Lopez-Cruz were identified Monday as the bodies found last week inside a vehicle that was set on fire in a ravine near the intersection of Scootney and Ridge roads. Luis likely was still alive when the car went up in flames, according to Dan Blasdel, Franklin County coroner. Luis would have turned four years old on Thursday. Prudencio Juan Fragos-Ramirez, 25, of Connell, reportedly had recently started dating Cruiz-Calvillo and is suspected of killing the pair. Fragos-Ramirez was arrested hours into the investigation at his home less than a mile from where the bodies were found. He appeared Monday in Franklin County Superior Court, where Judge Carrie Runge set bail at $1 million. Runge ordered Fragos-Ramirez, who has previous convictions for DUI and driving while suspended, held for up to 72 hours while prosecutors determine what charges to file. Prosecutors say Fragos-Ramirez was deported in 2014 and got back into the country illegally. …Oklahoma…

The man accused of causing an accident that killed KFOR Sports Director Bob Barry, Jr. has a history with U.S. Immigrations and Customs, KOCO confirmed on Wednesday. An ICE spokesman said Gustavo Castillo Gutierrez, 26, from Mexico, has been voluntarily returned to Mexico three times, twice in 2010 and once in 2013. Police said Gutierrez made an illegal U-turn, which caused the accident that killed Bob Barry, Jr. Gutierrez faces several charges, including causing an accident while driving a vehicle without a a valid driver’s license. …it’s Mesa, Arizona… 29-year-old Apolinar Altamirano walked into a Mesa QuikTrip, dumped a jar of change on the counter and demanded a pack of cigarettes. When [21-year-old] Grant [Ronnebeck] said he’d need to count the money first, police say Altamirano pulled a gun. When Grant handed him the cigarettes, police say Altamirano pulled the trigger anyway. Then the gunman stepped over Grant’s body to grab two packs of cigarettes and left. Just another day, awaiting deportation in the USA. Altamirano had been arrested in August 2012 after a home invasion in which a woman said she was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by Altamirano and two others – associates of her boyfriend, who was in jail on drug charges.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office allowed Altamirano to plead guilty to a low-level burglary charge. He was sentenced to two years’ probation and in January 2013 was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Four days later, ICE released him on a $10,000 bond, to await his deportation hearing. … and it’s happening repeatedly in Arizona: A woman with two children was driving a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravado west on Papago near the intersection of Amarillo Valley Road around 2 p.m. Saturday when it collided with an eastbound 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Manuel Perez-Vasquez. Perez-Vasquez reportedly fled the scene with at least one passenger from the Explorer but later returned. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Perez-Vasquez had been deported to Mexico six times since May 5, 2012. A 5-year-old boy in the Oldsmobile received a significant laceration to the head, according to PCSO.

He was transported to a hospital by air ambulance, and an injured 2-year-old girl was transported by ambulance. Detectives from the PCSO Vehicular Crimes Unit determined Perez-Vasquez traveled left of center, causing the collision. Perez-Vasquez allegedly showed signs of drug impairment and was placed under arrest on suspicion of driving while impaired by drugs and leaving the scene of an injury collision, a felony. He allegedly confessed to smoking marijuana before the collision. Besides the obvious political leanings, the national media likes personality stories and binary issues – i.e., “Edward Snowden, hero or traitor?” Thus, the immigration discussion in the 2016 race has been so far is “Is Donald Trump racist? Will his statements hurt the Republicans?” and so on. This helps them avoid an actual look at tougher questions, such as, “how many violent criminals come across our border?” ”Do federal and local authorities communicate effectively on life-and-death issues?” “What’s the point of a deportation policy if they keep coming back?” “Have sanctuary cities created a safe haven for violent criminals, and if so, doesn’t that mean those policies have to stop?”

Previously-Deported Illegal Alien Charged With Murdering Washington Woman And Her 3 Year-Old Son And Then Setting Them On Fire

RTXZNHR-e1399906684584

Just one of many cases…

Via The DC:

An illegal alien from Mexico who was deported last year is accused of fatally shooting and burning a Washington woman and her son.

Prudencio Fragos-Ramirez, 25, was arraigned on Monday and is being held on $1 million bail for the murders of 18-year-old Maria Cruiz-Calvillo and her 3-year-old son, Luis Lopez-Cruz, the Tri-City Herald reports.

The pair’s burned bodies were discovered in a remote area on Thursday. The two had gunshot wounds, but the boy was likely still alive when the car was set ablaze, according to Franklin County coroner Dan Blasdel.

Say what you will about Donald Trump, but he deserves credit for igniting a conversation about something both parties keep choosing to avoid, illegal...

I guess Trump only cares about "those" illegals. Has he not been to the Northern border? You can still walk across in spots, with not even a wooden fence to stop anyone.

The Donald visited town today (opening his B&B), and the press fell over backwards helping him insert foot in mouth.

In an almost impossibly bizarre coincidence, this isn't the first time the Cairns family has been caught up in a photo kerfuffle involving Nazis and American politicians. George's brother John is also a stock photographer, and took the image of Nazi reenactors that was accidentally used in a flier for the campaign of North Carolina state legislator Tim Spear in 2010.

It's a family affair.

Truth is surely stranger than fiction.
