At what point did you realize the GOP despised the American people?

I'm asking all age groups-Boomers, Gen X, Y, AND Z.

What we’re seeing from parts of today’s Republican Party isn’t just hate, it’s literally fear and power disguised as principle. Claiming to be Christians yet not following Christ 's teachings of love and acceptance.

Ever since the civil rights era, Republican politicians have learned that stirring racial resentment among insecure uneducated poor Americans can win votes, so they use coded language and “culture war” issues to distract from the real problems, like inequality, corporate greed, or underfunded schools. All the while, these said poor Americans are literally cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

Now they have stooped to a new low of using food and healthcare as weapons of negotiation. The old rotten orange slobbering clown is nothing more than a human manifestation of decades of nastiness from this party. He is their Frankenstein.

So let me ask again, at what point did you realize these people flat out hate America/Americans?
