Thinking of Byron...

Someone suggested I should celebrate and do something he would enjoy today, but I don't think I am up to 4 hrs of 24, does anyone have any ideas?

Maybe I will pick something on the list that we hadn't watched yet and see if someone can watch it with me.

I am going to recycle the TV, he'd like that. We watched things online anyway.

Would have been? I think it's still his birthday, whether he's here or not.

I have been kind of wondering about that. In my mind he will always stay the age he was when he died, so in that sense he does not get older.

So today was Byron's birthday, but does it exist as "is" if he does not?

It was his birthday, it is our remembering of his birthday.

He is here in your heart, so it's his birthday. :rose:

And they do stay the same age but sometimes you run into people who look like them and you wonder, is that what he would look like at that age.

At least he liked things that don't get you arrested.:)

hello, noor :rose: so glad you made this thread so we can all take a moment especially just to think of him and what he was to us as individuals.

Blade Runner - the rutger hauer speech, always reminds me of Byron, though it's beautiful and sad. you could probably use something more upbeat, but i'm sure he was a fan of it. just don't want you feeling too sad on this day :rose::rose:

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

February 12th is Abraham Lincoln's birthday.

February 12th is Abraham Lincoln's birthday.

It IS his birthday.

Happy Birthday, Byron.

Okay, not arguing.

I concede.

It is Byron's birthday.

Okay, I understand! This death/grief thing gets confusing sometimes.

In honor of Byron's birthday, I plan on driving people insane by loudly playing Yes, Kansas, ELP, old Genesis, Rush, Strawbs, Floyd, King Crimson, Queen, Gentle Giant, Queen ... Then I will start on his favorite classical music. This could take a while...

I will listen to Metallica because that would make him laugh.

I'm not saying he's right, I'm just going for the laugh.

Dear Ghostly Litster,

Happy Birthday! Are you having cake? You should!

I'm sorry that I never got to meet you. I hear nothing but wonderful things about you.

Please hang around as long as you like, it wouldn't be the same without you here.

Signed,
Honey, friend-of-Noor Litster :)

Also Spinal Tap, Monty Python, Shakespeare! Cicero, Catullus...
