BEST large chain shakes anywhere.
I have to qualify this because I had THE BEST shake from anywhere this weekend. A fresh blueberry shake from Blake's in Albuquerque. Heavenly!
In principle, this sounds quite good. Having had experience with their kitchen, I am skeptical. Your recommendation does help their cause, though.

I tried to verify this claim using independent means, but neither their website nor Yelp contained any pictures of these BEST shakes. I will have to take your word for it.

Imagine a shake that makes your cheeks cave in just enough, because it's the perfect viscosity. You have to work for it, but it's not impossible to actually get it in your mouth.
Now, notice that it's a beautiful mid-purple shade...not dark, but speckled with bits of blueberry skins on a lighter field.
Take your first sip....suck harder, seriously! Now, let it rest on your tongue for a moment. First you just feel cold, of course. But then it bursts, like berried fireworks all over your tongue...fresh blueberries, warmed in the sun! Rich, sweet berries, like the flavors you get from fresh blueberry pancakes.
Careful, now! Drink it too fast and I promise you'll get brain freeze. Slow down and savor every swallow. You'll have to pull extra hard when you get a piece of fruit stuck in the straw.
You're welcome.![]()

I want to find your panties in my pocket. ...left as a suggestion![]()

I'm finding myself courteously aroused.....

Why thank you!
I adore New Mexico, too! I'm rather sad that Master cannot live in the places we like the best, so we'll just have to remain frequent visitors. One of my best glassblowing buddies is in ABQ, so I can't stay away.

Oooohhh! Courteously aroused! This made me giggle, as my brain had your cock and balls in a tuxedo for that one![]()
I lived in Santa Fe in the 80's and fell in love with Northern NM. I visit as often as I can. Taos, Angle Fire, Red River, Jamez, etc...
Working with a small book store in Old Town Albq I am reading mysteries that are set in New Mexico, I get a little "touch" of the place that way - that and the green Hatch I keep stocked in the freezer.

I suppose it would be asking too much if this was made with the best blueberries in the world: Maine blueberries.
I'll respectfully disagree and hope that they're Jersey high-bush berries.![]()
Tony Hillerman, by any chance? Master turned me on to him after my first visit to him, and got me hooked. His writing is so vivid, when I've visited places he's described I knew them right away.
Those immense, flavorless spawn of Standard Oil? Surely, you jest!![]()

Alas, he is no longer writing, something about being dead. His daughter, Anne, has published her continuance of the Tony's people - a well done effort.
I am reading J. Michael Orenduff, Michael McGarrity and Steven Havill now. Each have their own style, none are Hillerman but fun read.
For my Taos fix I am working my way through John Nichols. Milagro Beanfield Wars stands alone, but I made a commitment to read all of his and I shall not fail!
