"Whole Grain" is a marketing gimmick. We aren't cows and our guts can't break down the whole grain in such a manner that we can absorb the minerals contained therein.
No grains are good for humans.
That's not to say they don't taste yummy.
It was all God's idea. See Ezekiel 4:9.
Starch is the devil.
Cite evidence to substantiate this claim. The FDA food pyramid has killed, and hurt more people than any war, yet we still follow it.
Fats are calorie heavy and it's easy to go overboard with them. They're still an important micronutriant though. I don't think any serious nutritionist considers them "bad" given they're necessary for healthy living.
My doctors seem to think that saturated fats are evil, and trans fats are the devil.
I agree, the whole grain idea is a leftover hippie idea, adopted by poor science. I don't trust nutritionists, they have been brainwashed.

You won't get me eating quinoa ever again!!! that stuff is gross! I had prepared twice, once by a hippie cook, once by a classically trained chef. Both times it tasted like wet, bland seeds.
I actually liked it, only the tan stuff not the red stuff. I cooked it in my rice cooker BUT I started reacting to it so no more quinoa for me. It was nice instead of couscous, which I am allergic to, in a salad.

I have only had it in blends with wild rice. The rice cooks, the bland.wet seeds as you call them (accurately) make for an interesting texture in the rice.

I had some tonight. It tasted fine to me.
