I was packing up my mom's house and driving her across three states. Dad built the bunker like a barnacle clinging to the hillside. I don't know if it is all the concrete and rebar, or the remote location but no service there. I was too tired hustling boxes downstairs to bother to figure out her hard-line. Dad planned it in 2006 so there is cat-5 in every room, but I flew without my laptop. Took a couple of days of decompression after I finally got home.

I'll admit, I wasn't very close to kitty to begin with. But it was a little overwhelming. She'd post like 5 times in quick succession in one topic and it felt very aggressive and antagonistic. Then there was that whole picking fights thing. Just seemed kinda nonsensical and rude. But I finally took everybody off ignore before the new year and christmas and she was actually posting like someone you could talk to. And then she just vanished.
