It's time to get my cook on.

Lamb with rosemary and garlic, creamy mashed potato, sweet potato, pumpkin mash, fresh green beans, and gravy.

And a salad for me. Ugh. :D

Yeah it does! This year, I don't know why, I'm just very turned on by pumpkin-y flavors, including sweet potato and butternut squash. All that orange shit.

I thought you hit a wallaby with the car.

I'd eat roasted wallaby. Are we allowed to?

Pumpkin and lamb... So, sooo good.

Pumpkin and lamb salad? Amazing.

And thanks to Pink and Muscadine_Eyes, I will now watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Perfect Sunday.

Chow Yun Fat! Maybe I should watch that tonight too...

I made roast lamb a few days ago but it smelled a bit like mutton. It tastes okay as long as you don't smell it too much. It was a 5lbs roast, sticking to 3 lbs from now on.

I had it with yukon gold potatoes, green beans and a salad with lettuce, cucumber, avocado and sheep feta, that doesn't sound kosher somehow.

I had this explained to me once.

You can have dairy with meat, as long as the meat isn't being cooked by heated dairy products. So a cheeseburger (cheese melted on hot meat) is kosher, but Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni (hamburger cooked in cheese sauce) is not.

Wallaby and kangaroo are delish... so long as you don't overcook them.

Like inventing stories is hard for you.

Hahaha! Cheap shot, I know lol. :D:kiss:

Very

We were actually having a conversation about this here yesterday.... the kids were saying that it's probably highly unlikely that anyone who hasn't met me in person would ever believe me because my life has been so turbulant and involved and different.
I told them yep, that's exactly right!

Glad your roast worked. I'm doing roast butterflied peri-peri chicken for dinner here :)

Sorry, I was just hanging shit on you. Doesn't mean anything. Like, I didn't mean anything by it.. Just a bit of fun, you know. From me to you. Sorry.

Sounds like an awesome dinner. I'm glad we had an early one. I can relax and enjoy a beer now. :)

and where is the garlic and kumara(sweet potato for northern hemisphere folks)......plus did you invite Russel C?....he is a great fan of the sunday roast.

I know. My bad, I forgot the smiley at the end of the 'very'! Clicked the wrong one on this tiny phone.
All cool.
I'll habe a bourbon for you: you have a beer for me!
Cheers :D
