As an American citizen, what would happen to me if I were caught pandering extremely sensitive state secrets directly to the Chinese government?

What type of crime is this?

They already know the location of your pretend uranium mine dude.

Your dishwasher has been warning you against this for years.. You just won't listen.

This dude, Robert Hanssen, was an FBI agent who spied on the United States on the behalf of the Russian Federation.

He got caught and was charged with high treason and espionage. He could have been given the death penalty but was given life in prison without parole after entering a plea deal.

There's a place in my state that's called "[state's] best kept secret"

I'm not going to mention the state because it's a secret.

Isolation in a super max, a fate that maybe worse than death.

Treason and espionage are both capital offenses in the United States.
