1%'ers pay 24% of Federal Taxes

No, when Sam Walton and his subsequent heirs pay their employees shit, require them to work off the clock, and then walk them through how to file for economic assistance at the local, state, and federal levels, THAT'S stealing.

They steal the worker's wages, then the worker's labor, and then they steal from the taxpayer by bribing our "representatives" into letting them use our social safety to protect the bottom line of the executives rather than pay actual living wages.

Did they put a gun to their heads to take the job or did they hold their children hostage? I'm curious about this.

The "empty suit" paid income taxes of 7 million in 2010, but the investment fund Berkshire Hathaway, of which he owns a controlling interest paid 5.6 billion in taxes in 2010, clown.

Berkshire Hathaway isn't an investment fund. Dummy.

The flat tax is about those 49% of the population who pay nothing towards the support of their nation but demand the same rights as those who do. That means you, asshole.

Leave it to a neocon shit bird like vettey to want to screw the middle class right into the poor house in favor of rich folks.

He's a socialist with no understanding of free markets and freedom in general. He does understand entitlement however.

Free markets and freedom in general...hysterical coming from CPT drug warz.

What Ken is trying to say, is that the super rich should pay LESS in taxes, shifting the burden to the rest of us.

It's funny that Ken thinks that, being a failed lawyer, who is so far out of the 1% that they wouldn't pee on him if he was on fire.

Dickie:

Glad you brought this up. In another tread some single-figure IQ poster said he had "proof" that I was someone named Ken from California. He then went into this fantasy posting which included movie stars and you-tube postings and other people with other names that culminated in his .. well.... "interesting" proof.

Please post the proof. I'm sure everyone would just love to see who the actress was and what the videos were and the link to the attorney named Ken.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Try to start your own business, Governent regulation makes it so hard, that workers just give up and work for somebody else, then complain that the boss doesn't pay them enough, emploring the same government to help them out.

I understand the tension between the concept of "free markets" and "freedom," at least.

Hint: Things that sound or look alike don't always have the same meaning.

Explain to us how the wealth was "distributed" to them.

Facts, not opinion.

One easy way to spot this is the way the Fed manipulates interest rates to literally create more money for the market no matter what it does.

Richard is still stinging from the confession of LadyF, who posted about catching him masturbating over the phone with Karen Kraft, who some believe is the alleged "Ken." He's been desperately trying to ascribe his behavior to others on Lit, because misery loves company. Pay him no mind.

OMG. What a sick SOB.

But no ... if he and Mr. single-digit IQ have "proof" then they need to post it. Otherwise they're just proving to everyone on the GB how childish and stupid they really are.

There are softer forms of coercion.

Like, say, using the unfair business advantage you've acquired through bribing elected officials to lower your prices to the point that you can undercut your competitors, moving into new territory, and using that advantage to put competitors out of business--thereby creating a situation where people HAVE to work for you if they don't want to starve because you're now the only game in town.

You didn't answer the question. You said wealth was distributed to rich people, and I asked you to give factual proof.

This argument assumes that all business face the same hardships, whether multinational conglomerates or sole proprietors. This what people with lots of money and an interest in keeping you down think. It's not true, however.

Yes, the government is hard on small businesses. It's not because it's hard on business in general. It's because it is one things big businesses expect and pay our elected officials to do.

I am all for a national sales tax. It will bring all of those folks who are not paying taxes into the system.

I have a feeling that I also need to explain to you the concept of 'distribution.'

Creating money through rigging rates for the benefit of a certain class or persons or entities is a concrete, real world example of unfairly distributing wealth for the benefit of the wealthy.

It will never happen. It takes too much power away from the federal government. Besides, what would we do with all those IRS employees? :D

If Walmart is bribing elected officials, then why isn't aren't the Feds bringing charges?
