copy animated gifs in posts?

Hi,

I have seen some animated gifs in peoples posts that have caught my imagination, and I would like to have on my computer for future 'reference'...

But if I click on them to save, I can only get them as a picture, not the moving gif...

Can someone tell me how to get the whole gif?

I could be wrong but I'd guess what's happening is that you're already saving the whole gif, but then opening it in a viewer that doesn't show animation. Like Rainshine says, try opening the saved gif with your browser (right-click, "Open With").

Thank you both - I have no option to open in a browser (android), so it turns out I had to download an animated gif viewer... the one I had now works a treat.

I just have to find that thread again now...
