Hello,

I have a question about a potential injury from a male chastity device and I was hoping you guys could help me!

My boyfriend got the CB6000 for himself and he enjoys it very much. He wore it constantly, even while peeing since it has a hole for that, however, after a while, he had difficulty peeing without feeling pain in his penis and he told me it felt like the peehole was closed up due to the device and the flow was obstructed. The last time he peed with it on, he said the few last drops were kinda reddish as if there was a bit of blood and he took it off right then and there. When we looked at it, it did seem like the device was narrower than his penis even when it's not erect, so that might have caused the problem. However, even if he's not wearing it anymore, he feels the uncomfortable ache/pain in the part of his penis that originally hurt and that's been going on for a month or so. Is it possible he hurt it that much that it can't heal and what do you think is the problem?

He wants to go to the doctor but doesn't really know how to explain what the problem is and certainly doesn't want to say what caused it!

I hope you can help us!

There's blood in your urinary tract. Tell your "boyfriend" to go see a doctor. Tell the doctor what you were doing. Mild embarrassment is worth not having something more serious happen.

No need for quotes, I'm a she and I'm his Dom, so naturally I'm worried. And I've been telling him that as well, but it's not that easy to go and say you got hurt for wearing a sub device. I was hoping someone might know what the problem is and how serious it is, but thanks anyway.

Not an MD here, but I'd assume that he may have picked up a UTI (urethritis) - in addition to constriction you can get some bacterial buildup in these devices no matter how clean you are, it's adding some bacterial challenges to be in one.

Go to the doc, 'fess up. Sooner is better.

Yep, sounds like a UTI. Blood in the urine can signal a UTI that has advanced to a kidney infection.

Which means, grown ups doing grown up things, need to be grown up enough to go to the doctor when something goes wrong.

I agree that it sounds like a UTI. I'd say just go and explain blood in the urine and pain. They will do tests to find out of it's a UTI. Generally, they don't ask questions about what you might have done to get it. At least, from a female stand point. I don't know if they would ask more about it.

If it's not a UTI, they may need to know more about the situation. In that case, just be honest. Getting medical help is more important than embarrassment.

Blood in the urine is a serious matter and should be taken care of immediately. Leaving a UTI untreated can lead to a more serious condition. Or, it's already a serious condition and should be treated appropriately.

This isn't an answer to your problem, but it could be part of the cause. It seems that some of the CB6000 and CB6000C devices are counterfeit or at least made of a lesser quality that's causing some fit problems as well as cleanliness issues. The below reviews were pasted from Amazon customer review. See if any of the below descriptions fit your particular device. You might also do some investigating on your own about your purchase. I don't know if this could be the reason for your problem, or even part of it, but you just never know and a fake isn't going to be as good as the real deal.

Amazon Reviews of fake device:

CB6000

This isn't a real CB6000, i don't know who makes this one but it's not the original company.
One big difference which really got to me is the rings on this have grooves in them that skin gets trapped in and gets very irritated while the actual real cb6000 are solid rings without grooves. I couldn't stand wearing this for more than a couple hours before that irritated skin just was too much. I should have known since this is like half the price of the real version, but i should have just went to their main site to get the real one instead of wasting my money on this junk.

The CB-6000 is comfortable and secure to wear, with a few caveats. Its assembly is very complex and a real pain, but once on it is solid and, with a selection of rings and lock pins, it can probably fit almost anyone comfortably.

First, the main tube is not solid, but made of two pieces of plastic which are not very well welded together. Eventually they will split, with possibly very painful pinching. While on the selection of materials and assembly methods, I have to say that I am amazed that at least some parts could not have been made out of materials which are naturally slipperier, like perhaps polyethylene, polypropylene or delrin, any of which would allow longer term wear without re lubrication. Also, I cannot imagine why the with the penis tube was not cast in a single piece to prevent possible pain and injury when with use the tube eventually begins to split.

I had an original that got lost and bought this as a replacement but it split in two at the tip and cut me pretty bad just a few weeks after it arrived, so I do not recommend this product at all.

I read some of the reviews and thought the bad ones they had received a bad batch I was wrong do not buy this it is junk while you have this on it will come apart and pinch your penis and it will take skin. Save your money and buy the real ones.

CB6000C

So in case you were wondering why the price is so low, it's because this is a Chinese knock off of the real deal. I actually already own 2 real ones, and I only picked it up for the cage, which is tempting fate as even the real ones are known to burst open.

Pros:
Price- Can't really beat it. And if you just want to test the waters, this is one of the better choices at this price range. But, you get what you pay for. (See cons)

Looks - Overall looks and works (mostly, see cons) like the real thing. Your partner may love being able to see your locked member in the clear plastic.

Cons:

Shape of rings - These rings are not like the ones that come with an actual CB6000s. Actual CB rings are the same size, but solid plastic all the way through. These have an H like shape that leaves an inlet on both sides. They are going to be harder to clean. In the few days I've worn this, they haven't been any less comfortable, but the cleanliness could effect that as getting into the sides will be harder to do.

Quality and safety- This is not made of the same material as a real CB6000s. I'd say it feels less sturdy, especially the rings. Even real CBs cages are known to break, but only the actual manufacturer and providers buying from them will replace your cage for free.

Accuracy- The page shows a master lock. It comes with some weird brand I've never seen, but I like the lock anyway. It also says it comes with only 1 key. Mine came with 3, which could be a problem with some couples. Finally, it says it comes with a zippered bag for the device, which it did not come with.

I've owned a few of these now, and this is not the greatest you can get. Now why 2 stars instead of 1? Because you get what you pay for, and if you go in knowing what it is, you won't be disappointed. If this listing was for a "Generic CB600s type chastity device", and came with what it actually said it did, then I would give it 5 stars. It is what it is.

My guess is what everyone else is saying, however, I'll point out that men usually don't get a UTI. Usually, after a man ejaculates, he gets an overbearing need to urinate. Since both ejaculate and urine come out of the same place for a guy, nature has a self cleansing system that instinctively we feel the need to urinate after ejaculation. Not doing so will have a tendency to cause a UTI. So this might have nothing to do with the device at all.
Edit: There are other reasons guys get a UTI, but from what I understand, the list gets smaller after what I mentioned.

While there are additional preventative measures for a UTI (like drinking cranberry juice (or my preferred cranapple)), having one currently is best handled by a visit to the doctor.

I don't see a need to describe or mention use of the device to the doctor at all. If the problem recurs, then I'd suggest not using the device any further.

My point is that while I am not familiar with the mentioned device, while it is uncommon for a guy to get one, once you have one there are common reasons why a guy gets a UTI and therefore the condition might not be based on the device at all.

Thank you all for your replies!

I told him to go to the doctor and complain about a "pain" in his penis and that they'll probably do some tests to see if it is a UTI. And then we'll see from there on... :)

Tell him to go to the doctor and tell them that he seeing a bit of blood in his urine and he thinks he has a UTI. If asked, he can say-- yes, he can-- that sex got a bit rough. Unless his doctor is a fundamental Christian, they won't care.
