My wife hit the 40 and became bi curious, that lasted for 6 months. Then 45 appeared and it was like a switch had been thrown into neutral or stop. Interesting........I first discovered my bicurious side in my earl 30's but didn't act on this until my mid thirties when the opportunity presented itself. Since then, my sex drive has gone crazy - I'm now 49 and sexually on fire compared to when I was younger and physically better looking, but sexually I'm 2000 % better at this age!

It's great you never felt lost in motherhood. I didn't lose my confidence exactly, I think I was just too busy and too tired to even think about the "fun" stuff for a while. lol Have fun with your younger guys....seems lots of ladies here enjoy the pleasures of younger flesh.

Well done ladies. Sadly I had lost a feeling of my sexual self in the tide of motherhood and being a housewife. I had a couple of miscarriages in my twenties so my first born came when I was 30 and my second at 34.

I am 43, and I never really "lost" my sex drive. I kept it all through having babies and raising my kids. My youngest left for college in August, so I am more free now at home maybe? But I am unlike most women my age, I think about sex just about constantly.

Kind of off topic but not, I'm 33 and very sexually adventurous. I love sex, all the time, many different ways. It has always been a fear of mine that my sex drive would decline in the coming years. I've always been very sexual. When I reached my 40s, though I realized that I completely didn't care about embarassment or being seen as 'dirty'. Exploring has become more important than crafting a flawless (unobtainable) image of body and wardrobe. I'm just as horny as I've always been but now I make my rules. When I was younger, 20-30,( I'm now in my 50's) I had several relationships with older women in their 40's and 50's and found they were confident in themselves and knew what they wanted, which I was more than happy to give. Also they were often more open to new experiences, seemingly wanting to try things not done when younger.
