I can remember most of my textbooks from my freshman year in high school, opening them, the smell of them...and this was in 1978!

I have a good memory, not photographic, but good enough to where I didn't take many notes in college and passed classes with A's and B's.

Thing I remember most is that it was something my family did together before we all got egos and forgot where we came from. Before my brother became a jerk, before my mother died, before life was complicated, before I made a huge mistake and got married. I also remember terrible rain, black flies, and bugs.

I still enjoy both. I grew up camping. Tents and campers both. Some of my best childhood memories were camping.

A couple of mine were too.

I am hoping in the future our family will camp---tent camp.
