So I'm at the Farmers market being drawn in by rows and rows of potted plants. And I'm thinking I'm only going to spend $20. I get there and hanging baskets are $15.99! Potted herbs $4! Seriously? I paid $.79 for herbs and 6.99 fir hanging baskets at the greenhouse. Sorry people but I am not paying your prices. You have priced yourself out of "the market".

Are you sure it's a "Farmers' Market" or a "Farmers" Market? Here, we have people off the farm that sell their goodies, and then we have those wholesalers that come and pretend to be farmers and sell their "home-grown plants and organic fruits and veggies" to the unaware and unsuspecting. The latter is always two, three times the price of the of what former sells.

Well they were a bit rag tag looking so I'm thinking they are "mom and pop". Normally I understand the increase in price, but this was a noticeable difference. A savvy shopper like me did not consume the product, however there were many people that were buying plants.
