Season 5 just came out, so I know what I'll be getting for either my birthday or for Christmas. I just read the last book of the Sookie Stackhouse series, and got season 4 back from the friend, whom I lent it. So I thought I would start from the beginning again.

I love the series idea, but haven't committed to reading it yet. From what little I've read - sneaking in some chapters of the books when I've invaded Barnes and Noble - I like.

She gets a bit way out there sometimes, but it ended as I thought it would. It was a good ending to the series.

I'm into the Black Dagger Brotherhood series now.

My wife read all the books. The series follows them pretty well she said. There are some differences as well.
