There was an 80+ year old man out there helping us today. Temps were in the upper 80's. I am less than half his age and I couldn't keep up with him. I asked him where he drew his strength and he told me how he lost his wife in the May 3rd, 1999 tornado that went through Moore. The other F5 tornado on record. This brought back memories for him and the fact that he felt he didn't look for her hard enough until it was too late. Said he has lived with that ever since the day she was found and this is a way to repay that guilt he feels on a daily basis.

I turned a way from him and teared up. Then took a deep breath and started clearing tree limbs even faster than I was before.

That is my favorite guilty pleasure show. I have only gotten a chance to see the first audition so far. The one with the street performer kid who was phenomenal. Can't wait to sit down relax, and catch back up. Plus Cat Deely is nice to look at.

I'm watching the 2nd day of LA and the Austin auditions. The Austin auditions are amazing so far... the kid that kicks it off is just great. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. :)

Please. Is there anyway I can contribute to the fundraiser that your wife's band is having? I can't be there physically, but I can help monetarily!

Very cool. Our favorites are Twitch and Alex. That Psychiatrist one that NappyTabs put together was so cool. It was awesome to see Ellen fil in for Alex in the finale as well.

I wasn't totally crazy about Cyrus last season, but the dance he and Twitch did was awesome. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually liked Melanie.

We liked Melanie as well. Yeah Cyrus was ok, but I was still amazed at what he was able to accomplish minus the life long training. I wasn't too high on the latin ballroom guy, I cannot remember his name.
 
I haven't watched regularly for a couple seasons. I adore Twitch. Loved Joshua. I liked Travis and Benji too. But those were all early seasons.
