Agreed that equality of outcome is often what's behind a lot of social justice messaging...that's the whole idea behind what they preach.

Making social justice quantifiable goes back to my statements on Codified law versus Natural Law and the Law of Equity...all statute-law driven jurisdictions have a balancing vein of law to compensate for the harshness of literal application.

It's a lot like macro versus micro economics as well. Each has their place in harmony with the other.

So, pure Communism doesn't attract for the same reasons as pure Capitalism has fallen out of favor.

Social Democratic models tend to produce the best overall results.

Look at any list of "countries with the best quality of life" and you'll find Social Democracies dominate the list.

Does that have anything at all to do with who creates the lists and thus gets to set the definitions?

Marriage has been around for thousands of years. It has been defined that entire time as between a man and a woman. Not two men and 3 women ? or 3 women or a dog and a cat. So you obviously believe that somehow a child born to a woman in a heterosexual marriage but conceived through scientific means is a 'good child' but one born to a single woman or a gay woman using the same means (or even through sexual contact) is a flawed one. The presence of male/female union sanctified by the state is the determining factor in whether a child is valid.
