I want to see Ruth Bader Ginsburg drop to her knees and rip off her robe like Brandi Chastain.

This is the closest any of the SCOTUS justices get to be rock stars.
Except with Ivy League law school law review editors.

I almost never fail to read that as SCROTUS.

I wonder what Freud would have to say about that.

I bet that Mom is to blame.

Individual Mandate overturned, 5:4 along party lines.

Sotomayor writes, "Well I was once sick and could certainly have used free health care so I'm for the everyone having it."

Roberts for the majority writes, "Fuck you, I'm rich and can afford good insurance."

My radar sez ObamaCare gets thumbs up, and the Supremes fuck the Gays down the road.

Arizona immigration is a mixed bag, apparently. Sounds like much of it was ruled unconstitutional, but the police check of immigration status was upheld, so there's still something there for lovers of racial profiling. The three conservatives were dissenters, presumably on the grounds that all of it should have been upheld.

Montana's challenge--left-wing Montana--to Citizens United was tossed out; America is still safe for billionaires to buy elections.

It also sounds like the Court struck down mandatory no-parole life sentences for underage criminals, an easy Eighth Amendment case that four justices still managed to find fault with.

Also, it was noted that Roberts did not write any of today's majority opinions, which implies something everyone already assumed: he's in the majority on the health care decision, and assigned the opinion to himself.

Like I said a few months ago, either 5-4 to overturn, or 6-3 to uphold.

I can already hear the RW. If they overturn it "Justice has prevailed, we always knew they would do the right thing!", if they uphold " A loss of freedoms while bought and paid for judges play politics!"

Obamacare cuts into corporate profits. Therefore it MUST be struck down!

As it turns out, Roberts had a stroke and issued an opinion based on a brief that wasn't presented before the court.
