Writing Goal for the Day?

I wrote my Nude Day contest entry today. It's MMF bisexual , I'll probably submit it to the Group category, and it will probably set off a hissing storm.

I've posted several MMF stories in the group category, with a disclaimer at top saying it included some guy on guy action - and they've done ok. I think there might be more bi-guy interest in that category than people realize.

Pretty much finished plotting and outlining the new horror tale. Its a blend of the Book of Daniel and William Quantrill's visit to Lawrence, Kansas in 1863.

Thought of several ways to murder that look like self destruction: Fall off a roof, crash thru a window, struggle over a knife, run inside a burning building, leap from a bridge, etc.

I had a nasty bug last night that had me throwing up like I haven't thrown up in years. Feeling better today, but it was a good excuse to stay home from work and get some things done on the computer. I've updated Facebook, updated my blog, updated my website, and now I'm about to work some on my short story. It's been a good day.

Sorry to hear that, Syd. Glad you're feeling better, though. Good luck with everything.

I've started working on R&B11. Then it will be done and that will feel good but weird.

I have two stories off to editing. One is part 3 of the novel and we're hashing out details on where things are going. The other story is my Nude Day story so I'm excited to see that one completed. I like it. It's a sweet sexy tale - in my opinion.

Today I need to answer some SRPs as well as work on some cross-stitching that I'm doing for the daughter's boyfriend's birthday. It's moving along quite nicely too. This is a picture of what it will be like when I am done:

Also on the writing agenda - a reader sent me an email requesting a story and I think it would make for a wonderful read, so I may do a quick rough draft on that as well.

For now though I'm recovering from two mixed drinks that I had last night that were very heavy on the vodka.

Needed a good opening for the REVELATIONS tale. Something over the top. So I thought about it and cameup with the idea of a pet snake eating a puppy. Then I found a video of a snake eating a puppy, and watched it. Its graphic but perfect for my story. Its really what death is all about.

Today I'm back to plotting a novel I'm going to attempt in July, even though that month will be filled with vacation days and beach time.

It's not doing what I need it to do for me anymore - take me to a place where the sex is grand with the spouse. So I doubt I'll indulge much anymore. Gotta come up with a new strategy it seems.

Writing agenda today:

I'm not sure yet. I've not heard back from the reader who asked for a story - so I can't venture too far down that path yet. I'm not feelin' the gay male aspect. There is a stroke incest story brewing in my head, maybe that'll be what comes about. I honestly don't know.

I have written today though, answered some SRPs and managed to finished the edits that were handed back to me. My novel is almost done, and is in the first stage of editing (part 3 is) still debating on adding more to that or going for a Part 4. Something tells me adding to 3 is the way to go.

Yes, I know by now y'all have stopped reading and I'm talking to myself, but that's okay.

I think I'm really closing in on the end of my story. I know a lot of people get upset when their stories end, but not me. I've enjoyed the characters and the plot but I'm ready for something else.

Well, didn't finish R&B but sent what I had to the beta reader. I feared I was getting too repetitive with a few things and figured it was better to send out for opinions before writing too much more.

I doubt much writing will get done today -- house needs cleaning. Also PennBoy was selected by his coach to walk out for the National Anthem at a AAA minor league baseball game we're attending tonight. It was really nice of the coach, and PennBoy is quite excited.

Found a kewl story Theodore Dreiser wrote long ago, NIGGER JEFF is its title. Its about a black kid hanged for assaulting a white girl. Graphic! But the story is really about his mothers grief.

It also gave me a plot bunny to play with. What if the girl is biracial, say Quadroon or Octaroon, and her Mama keeps a secret.

Finished the three week long project of reworking my SWB series into the "Broken" series that is up on Smashwords. I deleted chapters (mostly sex scenes as reading it in book form there didn't have to be as much sex as posting chapter by chapter here) and added chapters that further flesh out the story.

With that finally done, I am eager to get back to something new, but the brain is drained so I'm pulling out a fairly simple mother/son idea I joted down a couple of months ago.

Don;t have the kink myself, but mother/son is the single biggest story draw(view vote wise) on the site.

More than a little scary when you think about it.

After the race, try to break through my writers block and actually get a substantial amount of words on paper. In the last two days I've only been able to barely complete a paragraph. Getting one or two pages completed would make me happy.

Well it's looking like the end of Rhythm & the Blue Line is in sight. Seriously. I think I've just about fixed Ch 10 (had to check time lines on things) and Ch 11 is working to the conclusion. Although I think when it's done, Ch 10 will in fact be in two parts, so Ch 11 will become Ch 12. I think.

Writing goals will I think become harder to attain as summer approaches and PennBoy is out of school. C'est la vie.

My goals have been gone for a while. It's difficult when the Spawn is around, ruining the mood. Oh well, I guess I'll have to take more trips to Starbucks, to the mall food court, to the sister-in-law's empty apartment...

I'm deep into writing an MM novella centering on the White Russian evacuation from the Crimea to Constantinople in 1920. Problem is that it requires a fair number of research tools and I leave for a week on a New York Finger Lake tomorrow. I have to decide what to drag with me--and invariably it won't be what I needed to take.

My laptop has made any research a pain, so I've been forced to quit doing that until I get high-speed. Means I likely won't have a story ready for the Halloween contest this year - drats!

Your synopsis reminded me the synopsis of a play I was once in: "A husband and wife mind reading act are trapped in Czechoslovakia during the communist take-over." Why, of course it was a comedy.
