Writing Goal for the Day?

I started writing ch 14 of ALMI and instead of writing from the notes I have for it, it ended up being a different chapter altogether. It put my characters in a chapter that showed how they were deviating from the love they have and entering into sexual thrill seeking. I put them back on track, but ended it with a little twist at getting caught fucking by their friends.;)

Happy writing all :)

I'll try and restart "Avatar of Justice" and at least also complete the battle scene for "FMRS" chapter 1.

Too bad neither of them is right for Literotica. :( I am also going to do some research on Samhain and the ancient Celts for my Halloween submission - the sooner I start it, the sooner it will be complete and ready for submission in that contest this year.

Out of curiosity - why aren't they right for Literotica? The site does have a Non-erotic section.

I have two goals now, and they will no doubt conflict. I want to keep writing my story, but Thursday is PennGirl's last day of preschool and I want to crochet one fish and eight little fish (teacher and students -- a school [groan]). Just not sure how quickly I can crochet the fish.

And I'd rather write. This little project got away from me.

Avatar of Justice - I'm planning on selling it through SmashWords to make money.

For My Rival's Sister (FMRS) - It's Pokemon fan fiction, so unless I wrote it with a sex scene in each chapter (ha!), it wouldn't be accepted.

Most of my current stories are like the latter. Good thing I have FanFiction.Net to post them on!

Ch 14 submitted and 15 started. NOW, I'll write what I was supposed to in the last chapter;)

Ah, I see. I understand that Avatar of Justice issue - wanting to sell it. The other, I still don't see why it couldn't be placed in Non-erotic or in Celebrity with even an author's note stating it was a non-sexual piece. That's just me though, so please don't take my curiosity as anything more than that - :) just not seeing that if you want to submit them to Lit. why you aren't able.

I've never been good at Celebrity or FanFiction pieces, even opted to use an Immunity in that category on this year's Survivor. I'm not sure why I don't care for writing about stars/anime/cartoons/etc - I just don't. They're all more real(ish) than the characters I create - maybe that's why - they aren't my people. lol

The Celebrity category may be my least favorite. I find it kind of creepy - hard to explain why - and don't want to read or write it. That's not to say I haven't, because I have read a few, and all I've found is that unless the story is totally over the top or "not real" -- maybe sf or something -- I don't like it. It's a kind of visceral dislike, and as I said, hard to articulate.

Nuthin is ever better for more words. The idea is as assinine as the Emperor advising Mozart to add more notes to his score.

Any Amadeus reference deserves applause! (Fuck, I LOVE that movie! And to think the ONLY reason I ever saw it was because my gay roommate in the Army thought the soundtrack would include the Falco song Rock Me Amadeus. - it didn't/doesn't, btw)

As for my writing goal, I realized I haven't added to Incest/Taboo for my survivor scorecard yet. So, that's my goal - to see if I can figure out how to write for what is admittedly my least favorite category. I have a good beginning on a brother blackmails sister story that I think will work.

Meh, it's after midnight. My goal for the 23rd is to take the notes I've been writing for two stories from my phone and put them with what I've already got on the laptop.

Still can't text for shit, but I just might be a wizard at getting pages done on the iPhone.

Deciding if Deputy Hank is gonna pull Doc off Jenny, handcuff him to the stair railing outside the bedroom door, and then take over fucking Jenny's brains out before her husband gets home, or if he's just gonna run the naked old reprobate off and then take over fucking Jenny's brains out before her husband gets home.

Now that I threw myself a twist with an impromptu chapter, I have to come up with an entirely new start to what my notes say. I shouldn't have strayed, no matter how well it fits, I shouldn't have strayed. Where to begin?

I'll try with the Author's Note for an old story of mine - "The Perfect Gift". It's complete and 15 chapters long, so it should be good. I'll have to edit each chapter first and remove the author's notes I added when I was writing the story for FF.Net.

Got my journal post of the day written, so I'll go edit chapter one of TPG before I submit it today. :D Thanks again for the advice!

Its a great movie!

I'm now immersed in FACTUAL IMPOSSIBILITY as justification for criminal conviction. That is, you wanna kill someone, and to do it you pray to Jesus to make it happen or stick pins in a voodoo doll, dreams may count, too. Many states ignore factual impossibilty as a defense for attempted murder or whatever. Stick the pin and you commited attempted whatever. Crazy.

No, I'm not dead. I'm actually getting a short story ready to submit. I'm not sure which is more miraculous, that I'm writing something new, or that it's actually short. I didn't know it was possible.

The story I was writing got pushed aside by a new one, with a mise-en-scène that LaRacasse suggested and plotline from E. M. Forster's classic A Passage to India. It's a Humor & Satire, and getting the style right is tough.

It's PennGirl's last day of preschool :( and I finished my fish :) and so I guess I will drop her off and then enjoy one last bit of alone time at Dunkin' Donuts and write this morning. Then... summer.

But I'm thinking I may be able to finish the current chapter of R&B that I'm working on, or come close, and then work on what I think will be the last chapter. That's the plan, anyway.

Last day of High School for the eldest.
Last day of Junior Year for the second kid.
Last day of 7th grade for the last kid.

Writing - probably nothing today - still busy working on the house/yard/garage for the graduation party.

Good luck everyone on your goals. :)

Okay, I didn't finish, but I did add something like 1600 words. :) The chapter is currently longer than I expected. Not a bad thing, just a fact. But it does make me wonder how long my final chapter will be.

Waiting in a Starbucks for the Spawn to get out of school early. I should be writing something, but damn, the sight of a skidmark showing, worse-than-a-chicken-farm smelling teen has me sidetracked

I deleted my submission the other day, as Pokemon tends to make people think about ten year olds (even if they are aged older in a story).

Today, I'm not going to write anything as I'm fighting a summer flu. I don't write well when I'm sick!

Hope you're feeling better, topace.

Woo hoo! I finished the draft of R&B10! Now let's just hope by beta reader doesn't shred it. I expect tweaks and a few other changes, but I hope I don't have to tear it down and build it up again.

On to Ch 11, but after helping Mr Penn purchase a new computer.

I've been bouncing back forth among no less than 6 Nude Day stories.

Then along comes this plot bunny and bites me square in the ass. An old picture that i thought I had lost but it was in the wrong directory all the time. It's of a young lady I used to date years ago. She's sunbathing on the front deck of my old boat. Possible a Summer Loving story. Six pages in and flying along.

I'm sweating it out in India in 1922 or thereabouts, about 3000 words, but I can see my way to the end.
