We have been there long enough to learn that they do not want our brand of liberation. They do not want to emulate us any more than they wanted to emulate the Soviets.

The War in Afghanistan was not as unjustified as the War in Vietnam, but it was unjustified in the same way. We do not have the right to tell other nations how to live, and we do not have the ability to transform them in our image.

They'll have a harder time finding the right corpses to vote for them this time. And forget getting the Black Panthers to do the scare tactics, too. Looks like the Crook, oops, Cook County machine team will have to get some actual live people to turn out this time around.

Mind you, I don't have issues with pulling out of Afghanistan. We shouldn't have stayed nearly this long. And we never should have gone to Iraq.

But electoral fraud is a separate issue and the Obama machine are masters of it. Al Franken and Harry Reid, too, of course. Much like Mary Landrieu and Loretta Sanchez.

Didn't the LWs around here spend the last four years of Bush gleefully reporting the body count and demanding photos as they came off the plane at Andrews?

I was one of the very few advocating that he should hold true to his words and philosophy and actually bug out.
