If this was done decades ago, the nanny state would be almost nonexistent!

The only country where they are able to do this is China.

I just found out just today that retarded people get married and have children. There is a group of retarded people who come in everyday to do supervised janitorial work at my workplace. I thought it was admirable they were working and the whole thing was a nice story before, but today, I found out some of them have children and/or are married. Everyone was saying how awesome that is.

I was mostly speechless, as I had no idea this happened. I thought of retarded people as mostly asexual. At any rate, these people are nice and good workers to the extent they are capable of being so, but I can't imagine their capacity to be parents. They need a supervisor to watch them cleaning tables. How can they be parents? Its a difficult issue, I still haven't put my mind around it yet.

My condition has a name, it is called borderline intellectual functioning.

This condition is defined by having an IQ between 70-85. My IQ is 89, but it's close enough where we can round it and call it even.
