It's not like you were earning lots of interest on that money in the bank. Your country could have saved hundreds of dollars if you had only coughed up your share a bit more timely. You expect government services and military actions at a moment's notice. How about a little reciprocity?

Per the usual I'm only paying in a small amount like $200.ish or sometimes I get like $80. back. Better to work out how to pay in properly on at least a quarterly basis. Paying in a lot at the end or getting a lot back means that something wasn't right.

Because he rates lower taxes. It's a shame but you won't let us unfuck that.

I'm sure he actually needs a secretary but in general I'd agree with you. We have cell phones now. We should fire all the secretaries and prey they find jobs instead of ending up on the welfare we're saving them from now.

I know that it isn't going to be an issue this year, with both parties already pandering to the feminazi vote but why on earth are we subsidizing working parents day care??? It is infuriating, seeing the day care credit for both federal AND state taxes on the forms. Its not even a deduction but a full blown credit. In California the day care tax credit is so high, working parents full cost of day care is paid for by the taxpayers. It would be bad enough if it was a deduction, but its a full credit. This is rape of the rest of us who don't have kids or take care of our own kids at home. At least, have a means test and don't let upper middle class and rich two income families leech off of the taxpayer.

I don't know California, but the federal credit is capped, sloped down for higher incomes and cannot be refunded.
