I heard about this yesterday and watched the movie (an 11-minute documentary). I loved the calculators he added as a "security" measure to authenticate his Fun Passes, and the claw machine, of course!

When I checked the website yesterday, he had not yet reached his goal of $25,000. Right now, he has over $75,000 in his college scholarship fund. It's interesting how we (and by "we", I mean the collective WE) can support one child who shows such promise for the future; and at the same time, not support children and education, in general.

Update:
This little guy has over $170K in his college scholarship, (per his official website) and close to 100K "likes" on his Facebook page now.
Besides that, the Goldhirsh Foundation (website currently under construction) has donated $165K to help start the Caine's Arcade Foundation, which will provide additional college scholarships to more kids.
