Am I Taboo?

In past posts I have mentioned that I have some extensive mobility issues.

I spent yesterday trying to find porn featuring someone with my level of immobility. I found a “paralyzed” man have 30 virgins(doubtful) give him head {Japanese porn, very…different}, but his legs were squirming and he lifted his ass so the girls could get his boxers off.

I found links for amputee sites that were dead…yahoo chat groups that hadn’t been posted on in months…a blog about how not all devotees are rapists…If you look for information on disabilities and sexuality, you will learn that disabled people have the same needs as everyone else{very helpful}

I might have found something if I was willing to pay but I couldn’t get even a glimpse of what I would find.

So personally it looks like incest and bestiality, which are both illegal, are less taboo than having sex with me.

I dont think viewing you as a sexual creature is "extremely kinky". However the volume of assumptions made about those with disabilities is, staggering

I think, for some people, seeing someone who isnt "perfect", forces them to do something they'd rather not do, which is think. So many people live narrow lives, they are solely focused on themselves and cant/dont see anything beyond what effects them. Sometimes, seeing someone who is different, forces them to examine a lot of their own flaws and preconceived notions, which is never a comfortable thing.

Im sorry your so frustrated But, having seen and giggled and admired so many of your posts, dont forget that you are very loved and desired by many here. And that, by simply being you, you are smashing assumptions left and right Not to mention flirting outrageously and making the lit men drool.

One of the very first, and really only female on all of lit to embrace me and make me feel at home. You truly are one of the kindest people I have met.

The world is fucked up and sometimes things get all bent out of shape, topsy turvy, upside down. There is no way to explain it, no way to comfort you on something we don't understand either.

All I can tell you, all that I know for sure.. Is that if I was there with you now.. I'd snuggle up right next to you... holding you close, (u'd prolly even have to fight off a few of my advances, and let me know as gentle as possible you don't swing that way ) wanting more then anything to show you just how truly beautiful you are.

Another thing I can tell you, for what it's worth being a female prospective , albeit a bi females perspective... For me.. it's usually alot less to do with looks, and much more to do with personality/ attitude. I am attracted to so many different types; big, small, male, female, white, black, yellow, able bodied or not, blondes, reds, brunettes... lol I'm an equal opportunity lover. just is truly about the personality.

Even with personalities, there is such a wide range... that will draw me in...

I will also share some experiences of mine... there have been times in the past when I've been talking with a person in a wheelchair.. in fact this one guy in particular that I thought was soooo freakin hot... he was the funniest man I had met in a long time.

So while I thought about him in ways he'd never find out.. I never did let on. I was intimidated ya know. I know it's a chicken shit excuse, but when you have never been in a wheelchair , when you have never been paralyzed, you don't understand it. You have so many questions about things sexual, yet i found myself way to shy and intimated to ask. I read the other thread about being disabled, and a guy there said that the foremost question asked is
'you can still have sex right'

Well there is a reason this is the foremost asked question.. if ya have never been there, you really just don't know. And i for one, don't want to offend the person, or look stupid myself. I believe if there are barriers it probably all starts with this.

I found myself hoping that the man in the other thread would share the answer to that question in more detail. So maybe I'd finally have those answers. What things are possible and what are not... I 'm guessing it might be different for different people and what disability they have.

Maybe we should all be braver, more confident in asking such questions??? however I wouldn't go up to an able bodied person and start spouting of sexy questions the first (second, third, fourth) time I met 'em...

Your disability is or should be merely looked at as a challenge.....and anything worthwhile will always have its challenges......it makes the reward sweeter that way. I know in the real world we have been taught not to stare at people with disabilities nor do we want to ask an impolite question, this board has helped me a lot in learning about how to deal with many things I had been curious about. It is a shame that something like this doesn't exist out in the rest of the world, instead of being tied to a "sex site" which limits the number of people seeing it, if it did people could go there and learn how to approach others like yourself, I think it might also let others know that disabled people still are sexual beings with urges and needs the same as able bodied people. Once others came to realize that maybe a new niche would open for porn that relates more to them, gave you all more options that way.

Bound, I have to say that I feel for you in what must be a very tough and alienating situation.

The first thing that society needs to get over is the fact that for a huge chunk of the world population there *ARE* differences in how we experience sex. There are huge populations of deaf(they'll never hear a lover scream!), tons who cannot smell(They will never breath in the warm, sweet aroma of a woman's sex!), many who cannot see(Those pink handprints I leave will go unviewed!), and even more with mobility issues like what you experience, to varying degrees. The sooner that we acknowledge these people the sooner society becomes a better place.

I HAVE seen stills from one porn video in particular that was a private sex video from a disabled couple. I'm not well informed on what their exact physical impairments were, but from what I could see they were quite disabled yet obviously enjoying a romantic and fulfilling sex life.

But having all that been said I do feel like mainstream porn excludes people with disabilities UNLESS it is for a specific fetish video. In that way what you experience *IS* "taboo", in that there are some men who probably have a fetish for it because some people feel uncomfortable with disabled peoples.

...And lastly, I had a paraplegic girl that I regularly flirted with for years, but she never opened up to the point of taking it any further. Still, I didn't consider her a "taboo" any more than any other older woman. I thought of her as friendly with a beautiful smile. (And very sexy breasts if I'm being honest!)
