Thank you for weighing in 1Wheels111..........the more awareness there is to people with disabilities, the more we will come to understand the plight of those who live this life everyday........every moment. When I look around and see the hunger in us.......the need to connect in an emotional and physical way.....and then see those of us incapable of pleasuring oneself.......or being in a relationship of mutual satisfaction......one has to ponder the fairness in life itself.......I applaud Bound for creating this thread........you for adding support.......and to the others out there as well........

We all have responsibilities in life....many of us come here to take........might it not be time for us to awaken.....embrace our differences.....and find common place as humans looking for love and affection........

You know what? This really is an amazingly fucked up thing. I agree with another poster who said that it is a bit intimidating when you don't know the disabled person's body limits,and I think that is a factor. However, there should be much, much more porn that way.

You know what we can do about it? If you, or if you have any friends or any disabled lit people out there on lit want to make some porn, do it! And upload it to an amateur porn site. BoundLife, I am sort of a newbie here but I've been a lurker for several months. From what I have seen of your posts, you are a beautiful person, inside and out. I've found in my life that many people have an intense fear of the unknown, or that of which they don't understand. They may think they'll be labeled "weird" if they express interest in what society considers out of the ordinary. Thankfully, the internet has opened doors never thought of before, but there are still many topics that haven't even been explored yet.

As a big girl, during my dating years, I noticed it was far easier for many guys to just say "no fat chicks" (I despise that fucking phrase btw) than it was for them to actually put the effort into getting to know me before dismissing me. Unfortunately, this can be said for just about anyone who may be labeled as "different" by those with closed minds. It took me awhile to realize that those (closed minded) people weren't worth my tears or my time, and it sounds like you already have the positive attitude it took me a long time to get. Sure there are still days when I wake up that I may feel ugly or see a woman whose body I wish I had, but the only one who has the power to make me feel "different" is ME. My husband tells me every day that I'm beautiful but I always say he's biased, lol... I guess sometimes I'm a tough critic when it comes to myself!

You seem to have a lot of admirers here and you should take some of them up on their offers! I saw another poster mention something about sharing your experiences through movies or stories, and that might be an awesome way to help others understand and learn about new things we've never even thought about.

I've read this thread with interest.

When I was in college, I had a relationship with a woman who was paralyzed from the waist down. And by "relationship" I mean it was sexual. The sex was good. The relationship didn't last because she was very insecure and became a jealous sort of stalker. Had she just let the relationship take its course without trying to push for marriage or leave 5 messages a day on my machine it would have continued. But the clingy neediness turned me off. Using her disability to explain away the neediness struck me as hypocritical. I mean, I asked her out on a date and we progressed from makeout session (she was the one who suggested we drive to the local park where couples made out in the backseat of the car) to climbing in bed two days later. At no point did I treat her any differently from any other woman I'd been involved with, so when she started stalking me I wasn't going to say something like, "Well, she is disabled so I really should let it pass." I mean, there was no reason for her to sign up or join every extra-curricular or campus organization I was involved in. Or for her to follow me around in her car. Had she given me more space, who knows how long it might have lasted.

Anyhow, I guess my point is that from my experience I know that disabled women can be just as sexy and wild as anyone. There were no problems whatsoever in the bedroom.
