The "Quick Min" button on my microwave

Everywhere BUT my back. My family comes from the arch and the toe

I am not sure exactly where my family comes from...but I think it's time to find out. I believe I still have living relatives there.

It's just the paternal side. Mom's family is Scots-Irish. Both families came here to build the C&O Canal and when the building was done, they were stuck out in the middle of nowhere.

ahhh.... well, I have maternal Sicilian roots..as well as Greek and French. My paternal side is Italian as well.. but I can never remember the Town! It's not Calabrese but I think somewhere in that area.. I think! They were very... aristocratic (although I think mostly in their minds.. )

After a couple hundred years in the hills and hollars, I'm just a hillbilly.

My ancestors are from the Italian coastal town of Limatina.

See Johnny, this is how you create a successful thread.

One that doesn't involve Badbabysitter and Eyer heavily flirting with each other.

Although it pains me to give StackO'Five any praise.

I don't need praise, I only want your vote, and also some praise.

 sorry 'bout that......

Back on topic...

when you get to some other several important things, rethink the Sweet App Alert..

Ciao!

The beautiful woman asked about washing machines. I have much to say about this subject, but for purposes of brevity--since it is very important, when trying to keep people's interest, not to say too much or introduce too many clauses or ideas all at once, or they will get confused and lose interest (I believe the number of words is plus or minus 7; I remember reading that somewhere, possibly in a magazine, at any rate something with printed matter in it, not an e-reader or the computer)--I will only say the following:

Shock absorbers.

All these years of those hyperactive robots walking across the basement floor, and not a single industrial designer at Whirpool has yet thought of installing tight compression-springs in the feet?

You know all those knobs and such on the washing machine? The water temp, the load size, the spinny around one that sets the time and type of cycle?

I don't even know what any of those mean.

I just want to put the dirty clothes in and push a button.

I've never met a washer that did dirty close.

You must have an amazing engineer making your products.
