A good friend of mine was at a big social event recently where there was a lengthy cocktail hour prior to dinner and a lot of wine served during the meal. The guys all had to leave the table after dinner to get a bunch of photos taken, leaving just the women at the table.
Somehow, the laidies' discussion turned to sex pretty quickly. Among the topics discussed was that last year, as a New Years resolutiion, my friend and his wife committed to having sex every day for an entire month to try to bring them closer together as a couple. Whether it was the false bravado fueled by the alcohol or just the excitement of the idea, every one of the women were crazy about the idea and all agreed to try it. The guys were all in shock when they returned to the table to be told what was in store for them. (but none complained!)
So I told this story to my wife and she agreed that it sounded like a fun challenge. She even went so far as to suggest we start on March 1st so we could have a 31-day month instead of starting in mid February and only getting 29 days. This board seemed like the perfect place to see if anyone else wanted to join in our challenge and track our "March Madness" progress. I suspect it may get difficult at times making sure we don't miss a single day. But maybe we can inspire and support each other to succeed.
Any takers? I know every time I hear ESPN talk about March Madness I'm going to enjoy it more than I ever have!
