I met an old friend the other day and we got chatting. The subject turned to sex, as it does, and he told me that he had gone to the house of an old lady in her eighties. Some people are happy with that. I'm in my 30s so I'll go for 40s and though much less likely, 50s. I doubt I'll do 60s or 70s (even 50s is doubtful), but some of them are very hot with sex appeal so I could be persuaded.

This exact situation is on my bucket list
 
As I've related in other threads, there is this phenomena whereby many women who lose interest and call a halt to sex with their husbands - say, in their late 50's or 60's - seem to once again reengage after their husband passes. At first this sounds very depressing, like these women didn't love their livelong partner. But I don't believe that. I think it simply reveals that women may grow tired of sex with the same man long before he loses interest in sex with her. These women cared about their husbands and didn't want to cheat on them. But they also didn't enjoy sex anymore - indeed, it may have become a toil. So, they just put sex on the shelf. Then, after he passes and it's once again acceptable to pursue sex with others... they do exactly that.

If there is a lesson in this... it's that older men should let their older wives pursue sex with other men while they are still alive. ..Assuming their relationship is otherwise loving and healthy, it could well mean their wife's reinvigorated sexuality will result in getting more sex themselves.

Yeah... not an easy idea to get your head around. ..But mark my words, a hundred years from now sex outside of a primary relationship will no longer be seen as dysfunctional. Indeed, it will be what nearly everyone does - albeit with rules and transparency - to keep their interest in sex alive which will lead to a longer and more joyful life.

What a dream that is! I've had this fantasy since I was a teen, to have an older woman (and perhaps some of her friends) use me for sex. I can hardly imagine how frank and open they would be about what they wanted and what they were willing to do.
