Just ordered 15 lbs of our fave coffee

Better than Kona Blue Sky?

Been a while since I had the Kona but I remember it being a bit acidic.

This Tarrazu Monti is real smooth and has a great aroma with a chocolate thing going on.

Most rican bean is chocolatey imho.

15 pounds of fresh coffee for home use. That explains a lot about you.:D :D

Kona acidic? All mine has been far from it. No Chocolate, though.

I think I ordered that Kona bean on your recommendation. I got the peaberry if I recall.

and now that I look I remember why this Rican bean works out. The Kona is 3 times as expensive.

lol

The peaberry is the primo stuff. Damn spendy, too.

No kiddin. 25-35 a pound at the low end. I'm looking at this one dudes stuff and he gets 70 a pound for Kona Sweet.

This Cafe Brit stuff is good at 13 dollars a pound.

The Ohana or the Estate are priced better and darn good. Plus, we don't use that much around the house.

Congrats. I wish I could see you get it. I love watching people get things that they like. Like opening presents or winning money. Enjoy. :D

I live right near a beanery that has sack upon sack of fresh beans of every variety you could want.

Lately I've been favoring a Vienna Columbian Supremo which is nice and strong, quite tasty and only 10 dollars a pound.

As a connoisseur, how do you brew your treasure?

I'd like to know how it comes.
Pre-packed in small packs? Or do you buy a sackful? And if you do, how do you store it?
Nothing worse than stale/old coffee beans.

It's worse than wine. Theres a zillion different bean varieties. I had a Sumatran bag o' beans that was pretty good.

12 ounce packs and I have a vacuum seal pressurized container deal. I don't use that a lot though.

I'll freeze what I am not using. Leaving a few bags in a cool dark place.

I'm probably giving five lbs to my girlfriend to take home too so I figure it will be fine.

fucking drug addicts.

I really think that caffeen's gonna be our generation's coke. As in, people are going to look back and say, "Can you believe they used to put that in soda?" or "Can you believe they used to give that to their children?"
