I know I want my massage therapist to be someone who assumes the situation is a sexual situation and chooses to assume that I want him to prance around and pretend to be queer to put me at ease.

It's all in knowing your client base. I wonder if he could pull off lesbian, then I might consider it, but we're still a little cloudy on the happy ending aspect.

I'm glad you understand. Most of my referral clients are ladies. So I try to stay abreast of woman issues so I can talk to them about things they may find interesting. A non talking therapist is a broke therapist. Conversation puts a client at ease. Women are self-conscious as it is and need to feel safe. Ladies feel safe with gay men.

I've never had a full body massage but I have had a calf/foot massage. The woman wouldn't shut up. I didn't want to have a conversation. I felt like asking for my money back...

The wives are obviously not interested in anything naughty with the masseur based on your first paragraph (and in fact revolted by the idea and afraid of it), so the husband would have nothing to worry about in the first place yet still is. Kind of says something about the difference between the sexes I guess.

The best thing about my job is I set my own hours and I make good money though it can be very fatiguing physically and mentally. I worked cruise ships and resorts when I first got licensed. Funny how many straight guys wanted a handjob or women who tried to turn me straight.

North of SF here and fake Gay is offensive to some people. Self-Pride is way more in vogue despite your profession. Women who are hung up on massage as a potentially sexual situation are the ones with the issues. A pro massage therapist would know how to carry themselves "professionally".
