Ok I would have to say

willy wonka- gene wilder

more current

dazed and confuzed - heaps of stars

Braveheart...Mel Gibson. Ya, he's an ass, I agree. Excellent movie nevertheless.. Great story.

The Godfather...Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, James Caan

Silence of the Lambs.

Anthony Hopkins is just deliciously evil as Hannibal Lechter.

"Oh, and Senator? Love the suit.".

:D

I can never decide which of these I like best:
"Zulu"
"The Graduate"
"2001"

Doctor Zhivago ............... Omar Sharif, Julie Christie and Geraldine Chaplin

Gone With the Wind ~ Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Olivia De Havilland, Leslie Howard

From one Southern lady to another, I would have to agree with this!

Holiday movie? It's hard to beat It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street (the original), but The Santa Clause captures Christmas magic for me.

Nope, best holiday movie has to be The Christmas Story. "You'll shoot your eye out!"

My top 5...in no order

The Shawshank Redemption
Terminator 2
Hamburger Hill
Office Space
Cool Hand Luke

The Red Shoes (1948) directed and produced by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger based on the Hans Christian Anderson story. Starring Anton Walbrook, Moira Shearer, Robert Helpman, Leonide Massine and Ludmilla Tcherina. One of the best movies to see the joys of technicolor.

I am going to add honorable mention for:

A River Runs Through It

&

Jeremiah Johnson, Story Of a Mountain Man with Robert Redford.
