Trying to accomplish more than a "count of ten" with the clover clamps....it's been a long time & I can't do it! Hurts too much!

I'm sure a lot of it is mental.

Any advice/suggestions on working up to them?

I want to accomplish this so much.

ice them first (tit not the clamp).... the pain comes on slower but gets more intense.

Find something to do that's mentally distracting. Do math, wiggle your toes, anything that works.

The clover clamps I remember using on a prior partner were of adjustable tension... ?

Is the nipple in your av yours?

I used to be able to do extended periods with clamps no prob...then I got pierced.

One thing I've found, rings do not intensify the pain as much as bars do.

Other tips, I kind of use clamp time as a form of meditation. I take really slow deep breaths and try to tune out the pain. I find it very cleansing.

Clovers tighten when the clover is pulled on. Mine have weights, I've seen others with chains. If yours have either, try removing them.

maybe start with something lighter, looks like you already have some clothes pegs, and build up
I love my clamps and I have been taught to use rubber O rings to train my nipples to extend them, makes them tingle after I take them off,

Once they are on...at least for me, they dont really hurt anymore. Moving pulling and removal is where you gert the yelps from me

Being distracted by a different kind of pain (crop, belt, etc) helps me forget about the pain of the clamps ...

By themselves, all I can do is try to breath through the pain and shake my hands and cry as a way to let the pain go out of me.

My skin is pretty tender to the touch, so trying to manage a count to 3 with nipple clamps is a record. I wish I could stand nipple clamps.

Yep that's me :)
Daddy can help me, i'm sure...i will tell Him about perhaps reminding me to do breathing.

Different sensations, interesting. Will mention this to Master too.

Clover clamps - I have nightmares about those.

I have no help style ideas, but hope you succeed :)

hehe

He teased me with them this afternoon, but they didn't get put on. (thank god!)
Sometimes I think he just enjoys taking them out of the toybox and laying them on the bed to see the expression on my face.

Get you some of these things and use them a few times. Clovers will seem like child's play in comparison. ;)

Anybody got information on how it's different to use these (or other nipple toys) on pierced nipples vs. non-pierced? Might be getting into some clamping or similar play for the first time since I pierced my nipples, and wondering how it will be different. I currently have in rings but I could substitute barbells if that might be better. I don't know much about this!

When mine were pierced, I just took my jewelry out altogether to play with clamps.

Hell to the no!

Red! Red!

I have horseshoe rings in mine - hmmm....wonder if I should take them out first?

If you're putting them on yourself, my first suggestion is to use clamps with adjustable tension to work up to the clover clamps. Then experiment with different placements on the nipple. I find sometimes that pain is easier to bear when the clamp is placed more on the areola. It also varies through my menstrual cycle.

If someone else is doing it, and you don't have control of the placement or the tension, then I think it's easier to move into the pain than try to move away from it. We have this knee-jerk instinct to avoid pain and fear it, but it's possible to find a great deal of peace within the center of it if you trust that you're not being irreparably damaged.

In order to trust that you're not in fact being hurt, too, you need to know enough about your own anatomy and the effects of the clamps, so you can make intelligent decisions.

(It's also fun to stimulate your clit, if you can. :D That's usually what I do if I am allowed to.)

Excellent advice, thank you. Master is the one applying the clamps.
I've not thought it thru in the way you've presented before, good stuff.
It will help. :rose:

Is this because of prolonged use of clamps?

Nope. Not that I know of, anyway. I never had that much sensation to start with. Then, I had my nipples pierced (and the piercings rejected) twice. The sensitivity level fluctuates, of course, and it's not like I have no sensation at all there. But judging from what I've seen and heard from others, I'm kind of abnormal in that regard, LOL.

do you have a high threshold of pain all over or just your nipples?
