Yes, I've had a GF who didn't like it. I don't, currently. My SO is rather accepting and supportive, and thinks I should write professionally.

She enjoys most of the stories I write... Especially anything with N/C in it.

Or is jealous that you aren't always writing about them?

I'm not? Oh right. Not always <.<' That'd get rather boring, wouldn't it? She doesn't mind. I don't do stories about people she knows or celebrities or w/e.

Everyone (Literally everyone I know) knows I write, or find out eventually. When asked I'll submit to them I write "Smut" or if I want to be a little more subtle "Romance." If they press further I'll tell them any detail they'd like.

My sister, for example, knows exactly what I write, and even beta-reads my stories for me. Currently working on an incest story about a brother and sister, though. Saying its not awkward knowing she reads it would be a lie. However, she's rather fallen in love with the sister's character, and keeps pushing me to give her new chapters...

Do you keep this separate from your waking life? You don't show anyone that you personally know, what you write?

Nup. I simply do not give a fuck what people might think <.<' I've had too many emails from people who love reading it to let prude-ness stifle my creativity.

Are any of you more adventurous in your writing than you are in "real life"?

...A bit. Most of the time the story is tamer, at least for the most part. I get into some... interesting experiences.

Do you write things that you don't agree with believe in/outside your morals, and if so WHY? HOW?

Mm... Kinda. I could never sleep with my sister - for example. That plays out better in fantasy, where you can sculpt a better world for such things.

Not to mention she can be annoying as fuck sometimes.

Your story is without a doubt, amazing. I truly hope it wins. It's the most original story I've read in the submissions so far... and to be fair I haven't read them all so don't take that as a slight, any people who've entered... I've just read some and most of them didn't stand out to me. But this one was five stars all the way.

I have read a lot of stories, some so good and others not so good. Rarely do I leave a comment because who I am and the perception that others have of me. Yet, if I take the time to read a story, I leave a 5 vote, which is what I did when I had my story highlight/review thread under Andtheend. I was bashed for having that thread, until I had to stop highlighting stories of new writers.

Yet, in the 4 years I've written here, I have never attacked another writers' work, unless attacked first. Oh, yeah, my detractors will spin that I'm the one. I'm not. I'm too busy writing my stories to follow all that goes on here.

Now PrincessErin returns to the board and leaves comments on my stories that they are bad and that they are all the same. Of course my stories aren't bad and none of them read the same. More importantly what does that say about this woman?

If she is openly bashing my stories, leaving her name, who else is she bashing? Is she secretly bashing your story, too?

Further for her to write that my stories are bad and all the sames says much about her stories. If she cannot tell a good story from a bad story and a unique story from the same story, then that explains why so many of her stories are so short and are lacking in plot, dialogue, sex, a beginning, a middle, and an ending.

I don't bother anyone. I rarely make a post. If you all don't like me, just respect me. I'm a writer just like you. I'm here to practice and become a better writer.

How dare you PrincessErin? Get some help. Stop shitting on my stories.

I can understand why you'd be upset if someone is really marking down all your stories, but it's a risk we all take posting on here. At least it's not a vitriolic attack against you personally, something that the trolls on here do sometimes do.

There's nothing virtuous about only ever marking 5 stars. If one does that, how is one to differentiate between the OK, the good and the truly excellent?

P.S. I'm not taking sides, just throwing in my own opinion, for what it's worth.

No one has a comment about my post. Is this appropriate behavior for a fellow writer to write these comments on so many stories?

Obviously, she didn't even read any of the stories, just shit on them.

How would you feel if a fellow writer did this to your stories? If a fellow writer treated your work with such disrespect, you'd all would have plenty to say then.

It took untill the last day before one of the SUPERSTARS of LITEROTICA submitted an entry in the 2011 Valentines Day Contest. Until now we had been stuck with rookies, alts, ego maniacs and perverts (with the exception of a few good writers such as BOXMAN, DrHeat, and the smart texan).

We also had 31 entries from that lunatic SUPERASSRALPHIE - can't someone do something about this menace?

But an entry by LITEROTICA'S 'Most Favorited' Author has saved us. And I for one would like to thank SLICKMAN for his entry. FYI this author has written more than 10 stories that have recieved 1000+ votes and he is a charter member of the 1000 VOTE CLUB.

His VALENTINE story is wonderful and I reccommend it to everyone. Many readers believe it's the odds on favoritte to win the A.I.R. VALENTINES CONTEST which is running concurrently with the LITEROTICA one.
