Thanks, funny story man when I was a freshman in High School I had to write a poem for an assignment in English Class. I got an "A" on the assignment teacher said she loved it right before she referred me to counseling hahaha

Lol!!!!!! Thats awesome.

Spoke with a friend

In the midst of a breakup on yesterday. I feel for him.

When the lights went out, and the cold arrived
And no warmth was found within your eyes
To my surprise
I then surmised
That love was not enough.

When the clock struck 12, and the sun had set
And I forgot to remember what I'd never forget
Then the fact set in
That all within had now become without
I realized that love was not enough.

When I saw the bags, and I shed the tears
And my dreams exposed each one of my fears
When the burn of loss my heart did sear
And I begged you
And prayed that you would stay
I realized that love was not enough.

^I too can relate. sort of wish I hadn't read that.

great writing, pulls the known emotion right out of you.

Morning y'all! A little one in hope of finding blue skies sometime soon.

Home

sometimes I see yr smile in the sun
sometimes in the rain
somtimes i feel yr hugs through the breeze
sometimes in the birds

You're beautiful. I sent a kiss on the wind for you when I woke up this morning...

I LOVE the word moot *giggle*

Morning BMF :rose: Morning, Red  Morning, all! :D

I love the word "mujer" ;)

It is amazing the sun is shining on the drifts of snow hugging my house. This morning the dog, a 12" terrier had to go out, so I threw on my robe, pulled on my boots and shoveled a path. You think I would have had enough sense to get dressed first. Man, that updraft will blow snow up your robe!:D

How did everyone else fare?

And you couldn't provide a downward warming draft to melt it?

This is how my last long term bf and I broke up. Except it was my decision to do so for I was unsure about the one thing he wanted me to do....now I am trying to patch things up with him, thank god he still loves me though. Great poem, as usual.

(And I am back, now where are those links, please?)

Quick with the comebacks even in the morning! A true wordsmith. :D Just read the latest one. I really do love your work. I feel like each one was meant for me, even though I know that it is not so, but that is the point, isn't it? To touch each persons soul, draw their emotions.....

I once learned the hard way, that love is not enough.

Love this one.

Indeed. Now quit changing the subject. Downward warming draft????

Thank you. It's good to see you again.

Been on a road trip with that man o' mine, then came home to that blizzard.

Been digging out, now about to go make a dutch apple pie, and snuggle in front of the tv and fireplace with that same man.

You captured that "love is not enough" thing quite well.

You can love someone with all you are, and know that they love you too, but if they can't put legs beneath their words...words are never going to be enough.

Indeed. Sadly.

Hahaha:D The snow did melt on contact. I was out for about 10 minutes and my hair was soaked from the falling snow. Thought about dropping the robe and jumping back under my duvet.

Well, what can I say, your voice, sexy even with the sinus infection. Forget the spoken words (your voice is quite distracting!!)

2 pages my ass! :rolleyes::D

Hahaha.... I am glad you copied the links. BMF, I think you shoud have the links on your sig so we have acess to them and don't miss any. Well, people, I am off to hit the treadmill, then the shower. Have stuff to do for the 5th grade musical at school...beading the princesses necklaces, finish the choreography, etc. Take care and I will catch up with you soon.

Morning, We got nothing compared to what they were predicting  but we are still having a massive snowday due to ice and other road conditions

Ok, as requested, I'm going to leave the links. I've even put them in my sig, so anybody can find them at any time.

thanks*hugs*
